Hey folks! I am probably days away from making the purchase. I have done my homework and I would appreciate some final inputs to clear out the remaining bits of doubt and confusion.

I decided to go for the PS4 pro (even though I have a HD TV) because I would be future proofing myself and I read that things would run a tad smoother. Have I got this wrong?

When it comes to games, I have played FPS, RPGs, racing and Dota on PC. As for platformers, only played limbo (and loved it!). I will have my cousins and a couple of friends over on the weekends so I also tried to look for couch coop, local multiplayer games where possible. So far the list is: Fifa 17, Helldivers, Diablo 3, rocket league, titan fall 2 (sounds like a good fps pick), ratchet and clank. Not so sure list : assassins creed, overwatch (PC gamers have poisoned me against it, but my PC won't be able to run it :/ ) , looking for a game like shadow of mordor, good racing title.. What are the other games I should consider? I am open to suggestions to line up a list of games, but I generally move into news games slowly, so content should be strong enough to engage for a couple of weeks or more.

Tight funds, so I may not be able to get a PS plus subscription going till next month or so. Is that going to be a problem? What should be my initial 2-3 games which don't need one for the time being?
P.S: I have a hectic work schedule and constantly on my phone; I will try my best to respond to questions/messages.
