Bugged controller?

I've had my PS4 (original model) since a few months after launch, and recently my controllers have started acting funny. Like they'll occasionally not accept any input for 3-10 seconds, and then start executing all of it at once, it happens often, and will last a few minutes at a time. I can barely play multiplayer games anymore due to this issue. I have 4 controllers, and it happens on all of them. Any idea what the issue is? Only thing not stock is my 2TB hard drive.
