Who used fast charging cable did you charged your controller from ps4 or directly from socket ?

Okay some used fast charging cables and got their controller battery fried but the ps4 ONLY let's 1A current out so even if you used fast charging cables which they let's 2A or more out the ps4 will only provide 1A so as title says what did you do.

I'm asking because I want to use other cable than the original which provide 2A current out and want to make sure I don't screw up and as a note for people because some not aware.
