Can't connect PS4 to internet after moving to college.

If I use WIFI, it won't connect since it requires a username and password and the PS4 doesn't support that. If I use a LAN cable, it can't find the IP address. I'm not sure what to do now.

edit: i should also mention my roommate connected with lan immediately with his xbox
