Singstar Celebration Tracklist
So I've been waiting for any information on the new SingStar game and haven't heard too much. Nothing had changed on their website so I had a look on the playlink website and noticed every other playlink title had a find out more button except for SingStar. I went into one of the other playlink games and changed the URL to the SingStar game and there is some details on the page, including the tracklist

Cannot add Gift Card Codes
So add me to the list of users who cannot add their gift cards to their wallet.
But this isn't the usual case of buying the cards at a store... it's Samsung Pay!
I have done this before at least thrice, and it has always worked.
Now, I got [redacted amount of cards and values of each], as there is a 4x Samsung Rewards point promo currently going on. Taking it to my advantage, I figured to buy them, and try to snag a couple of the fall games. But NOOOOOO, Sony saying, on the PS4 AND browser, that the codes aren't working.
Question though: Is there a hard cap on how much you can add in a given month? No, not the $150 or whatever it is cap on the wallet at once... I mean like spending limits?

I have 80mbps internet and I can download things very quickly, however, I have a new HDD and Im downloading evrrything at once. My PS4 downloads 3 games at a time and queues the rest. Things will go a lot faster if it downloads 1 at a time. Any way to do this?
Does the story in AC4 seem very disjointed?
I really like the game, but I find it very confusing at times. Like Edward alludes to some history with El Tiburon as he kills him, but I could've sworn I'd never seen El Tiburon in the story before?
Same mission, Dinsmore acts very happy to see you and hugs you, and again I'm not sure who this is or what history she has with Edward. Am I just missing something? Or is the story really poorly handled in places?
Batman arkham knight dlc question
I was wondering if any of the dlc in arkham knight (and arkham origins) run along side the main story like the catwoman dlc with arkham city? I don't want to miss story while playing through. Thanks!
PS4 controller's buttons inverted.
Square has turned to circle, the dpad is inverted, the bumpers are fine, the right button on the d-pad is triangle, and vice versa. Anyone else with this issue? I reset the controller and nothing has happened.

Ive got The Devision on disc with the season pass etc. If I buy the standard digital version, will I still have access to all my season pass stuff? Or will the digital version be classed differently?
How do I format an old PS4 hard drive to use it on a new console?
My old PS4 broke (can't load any games but I'll boot up just fine) and I have in there a 1tb hard drive. I bought a new Slim PS4 with a 500gb hdd, so I wanted to swap them but then I saw that I cannot just swap them. So how do I format a PS4 hard drive to put it on another console?

I know it's a little early to be thinking about it and talking about it, hell, there's not even any rumors about it, but I feel like this is a no-brainer for Sony.
So I got to thinking about when the PS5 might come out (I was considering a PS4Pro but didn't want to end up by one like six months before an announcement or whatever) so I got to doing a little research, nothing too deep just looking at the time between consoles, hardware trajectories, etc. But what really caught my eye was something unbelievably simple. The number five. Say "Playstation 5" out loud. It sounds stupid. "PS5". It doesn't roll off the tongue. But you know what does? "PSG/PSGo/Playstation Go." Some of you may already know where I'm going with this but the pronunciation of 5 in Japanese is "Go".
That wouldn't mean much under normal circumstances, however the Nintendo Switch is doing extremely well. People couldn't give two shits about the Wii U but the Switch is setting the gaming world on fire because it's a novel idea that really improves quality of life and I believe this is the next direction Sony will choose to go in. Microsoft isn't innovating, they're trying to brute force their way to the top with power. They have very few exclusives and everything they do is seeming like they're taking another step closer to simply being plug and play PCs. That's fine, more power to them, but while they do that I think Sony will follow the Switch's lead and chase larger markets (Japan for one is way more into handhelds than consoles).
I believe Sony will release the Playstation "Go" in 2019-2020. This gives technology the time to grow and allow PS4 Pro performance out of the machine. When it releases the PS4 Pro will become the cheaper alternative to play the same games for those that would rather only play on the big screen for a cheaper cost. This would probably release against or shortly before the Switch successor/upgrade that would put both consoles on an equal playing field.
Then going forward, somewhere between 2021-2025 would they both release new systems that rival or beat the Xbox One X while also being portable. Meanwhile Microsoft will probably put out a new system every 2-4 years that plays multiplat games at higher fps and/or resolution and continue to be the gateway between the consoles and PCs. Their exclusives will likely be the only games that take full advantage of the greater hardware until Sony and Nintendo both reach that level with their hybrid consoles.

Deleting friends should be easier
I have to go to every single profile and load it up before I can delete them? It takes ~1 minute to load each profile before I can click the "unfriend" option. There should be a better process for this.

Somebody console me. I'm feeling a little empty inside. I've pre-ordered or stood in line for every xbox console release since the original. But the lack of exclusives this gen has gotten the best of me. I just can't do it any longer. I can play all the 3rd party games on my pc. I want to play games like uncharted, last of us, days gone, gran turismo, etc. I can't wait but I also can't help but feel slightly empty. I'm sure every ex xbox gamer has gone through the same thing.

Can I buy the original God of War for PS4?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but for the life of me I can't figure this out. I'm trying to get the original God of War, the old one, and I want to play it on my PS4. I saw that I can play it through PSNow, but whenever I try to buy the game itself, I get redirected to the God of War III remastered page. Does buying God of War III remastered give me access to the old games? Do I need to get PSNow? I've never played any of these games before, and only have a PS4. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Swapping Hard Drives between PS4's
So I bought a brand new PS4 Slim because my old one started having errors. I thought that I could fix it by changing the hard drive, but It did nothing. Now I have an old PS4 with a 1tb hard drive going to waste and a brand new PS4 Slim with a 500gb hard drive. Can I swap them without reformatting them? I saw online that the hard drive would reformat automatically but I'm not sure. And if you can't, how do I do this? Thanks!

Need help with Destiny 2 bonus
I bought the PS4 pro destiny bundle as entered all my codes. I have downloaded the add ons and it shows it in my library that they are. I have beaten the game and passed level 20 (passed an extra bar) and still haven't seen my Coldheart in the gunsmith. Is there something I'm missing? I've beaten the final boss and have done multiple patrol missions already and nothing is working. Is there something I need to do?

Hello, all. I am so sorry about bothering you guys with this. I don't do modern gaming much at all. I'm more of a PC gamer, usually. But my friends are playing Destiny 2 on the PS4 and my roommate conveniently has a console that they don't really use. My old, old, old account (the one that has a dumb username from when I was like 12) is on the PS4, along with his account. Obviously, he's the primary user and I told him to buy it in his name because I wanted to make a new account and delete my old, dumb named one. He bought it on my old account, and activated the free 14-day PS4 Plus multiplayer thing on my username. Is there a way that I can make a new username and still play online? From everything I've looked into, because dumbname69 is the holder of the game/PS4 Plus and is a secondary account with the console, my new account won't have access to it. I don't want to make dumbname69 primary cause it's not my PS4 and I'm sure that would just open up a whole new can of problems for my roommate.
Suggestions? I'm limited in my knowledge, and unsure if I'm googling the correct issues to learn how to fix this issue, if it even is one.

Do fps analog caps damage the controller sticks?
I've had analog extenders back in the day for my Xbox 360 controllers but after a month or so they started ruining the rubber on the sticks.
Issue launching game...
So I just got berserk and the band of the hawk from GameFly. I put it in the system and install the update. Then I go to launch the app and it goes to the pregame loading screen and then fails to do anything says the app can't launch disc may be dirty and then ejects the disc. I cleaned it like I always do and that usually works to fix this but not this time. Amy helpful suggestions?
How likely is it that a PS4 disc has disk rot?
I'm asking this because I just bought the two Kingdom Hearts collections, 1.5/2.5 and Final Chapter prologue but when I put the disc up to a light (I do this with every disc I get out of habit) and I noticed that they have two pin sized holes around the same area which is around the PS4 logo on the disc.
I don't want to jump to conclusions so I'm asking if this has happened to anyone else, is this disc rot or just a misprint on the label?

My PSN account got hacked. How do I start over with a new one?

Ive had my PSN account, paid and all that, on my Ps4 for many years now. This past February I received an email in my gmail account stating my PSN account information has changed. I tried to recover it, but everything was changed. I called Sony and they were literally NO help.
So, fuck it.
Destiny 2 is out and I want to play it. Im willing to make a new name and pay the $50 for the year of PSN time.
Whats the best way to go about this? When I turn on my PS4 it still says my old PSN name. So is there a way to just start everything from scratch and can I purchase the PSN time on the PSN store? And can I use my gmail account as before or do I need a new email now too?

I've been following this series for the past year or two and it's been fun watching it evolve. I thought I'd also give it a shout out here cause I'm not sure how well known this game is yet. I think for anyone that dug the EA Skate series, this could be the next big thing. And maybe even better considering their involvement with the gaming community. I think this is looking good so far.

Questions about making a different region account
Was thinking about making a Japanese account for games that aren't in the US store, I know it's fairly common to do it but I just have a couple of questions.
I read that it's against the TOS but having read the TOS, or at least the part that applies to this, assuming Sony did banhammer everyone that did it (unlikely I know), they would only ban the fake account and not my main US account right as the US account wouldn't have breached the TOS?

My PS4 just reset randomly & I lost all my save files. People are saying go to the cloud if you have plus(which I do) I do that & nothing shows up. Is there any possible way to get any of my saves back?? I'm having a horrible week & this is just making everything worse.

Really like the strategic turn based grind of it but just don't have the time to game like I used to (the rocket league addiction also doesn't help).
Each session I seem to get through one or two missions and at this rate it may take me a century to finish.

PS4 random input lag - Need Help!
Hey guys! So I have a launch PS4 which, since a few months ago, is having some crazy and random lag input issues. At first I thought it could be from my connection since I first noticed it playing Battlefield online, but then I realized it was happening with every other game, single player ones as well. So my console is in a bookcase in a corner of my room and I play facing away from it since my desk is facing the opposite wall (photo for reference: http://ift.tt/2wQHUrQ ), and the problem may be the lack of a line of sight between the controller and the console. I find it awkward because I'm not far away from the console at all, and I've tried 4 different controllers now and all of them seem to suffer from the same issue. It also doesn't happen all the time, so it may not be the PS4's fault either, rather some interference with something else, which would be weird as well but could happen. Has anyone had a similar problem before? Any ideas on what I should try to fix it? I already opened the console to check the solder on the Bluetooth chip on the front (there's an ifixit guide showing how this could be an issue and how to repair it) but that's all fine there. Also I've tried unplugging some of my LED strips, since they could somehow be causing interferences with the controllers, and while that seems to lighten the problem for a while, it still keeps happening.

Sony banned my 11 year old psn account because of a charge back?
Sony banned my 11 YEAR OLD psn account... Supposedly due to a charge back on this fucking peice of shit game crimewave 2 payday edition that I wished I never bought.
However there was NO charge back made on this game.
They are saying for me to pay the full $20.00 debt to get my account back. They said each ban is throughoutly reviewed by "specialists" before a decision is made

Sprinting in Zombi requires continuous press on L3 Button which is awkward.
Greetings. I started playing Zombi and when I pressed L3 to run and pushed analog to keep running while releasing L3, the character stopped running. I noticed that I need to keep pressing on L3 in order to keep running which is awkward and tiresome. This is clearly insane since all of running work fine in all other FPS games: press L3, push analog and release L3 and the character keeps running but here he doesn't. Please don't tell me this is faulty DualShock 4 because this is just an absurd myth. I tried with a default DualShock 4, 3 other different DS4 V1 form other people and the default PS4 Pro DualShock 4 V2 and another new one. Keep in mind ALL controllers are totally brand new and never exposed to dust. So the dust stuck theory is ruled out too.
I really hope there is a non hardcore solution for this. Thanks.
Trouble connecting via LAN cable in my dorm
I plugged the LAN cable from the wall into my PS4, and went into settings, but when I tried to test connection it says the internet connection is failed but the IP address was successful. Most of the troubleshoots on google involve connecting the cable directly to the router, but since I'm in a dorm, that isn't really an option. Any help would be appreciated. (also, the wifi is garbage so that's why I'm doing this in the first place)

Main PS4 limit
Am I able so my and my brother set each other's ps4 as the main on our account to share games for 2 weeks, then in 2 weeks I share with my younger brother as we are splitting the cost for FIFA 18?
Is there a limit to how many times you can change the main ps4?
My optical port is dead (there is no red light in it and it doesn't work), and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any possible fix?
I can't find anything on it. I suppose a replacement would be needed, and tomorrow I'll talk to PlayStation about it. Basically, I have an Astro A40 headset that stopped working maybe 3 years ago, and 1 year after that they sent me a new headset, but still it didn't work properly. Ever since then I have just ignored it, but now my friend got an Astro headset, and it reminded me I need to get mine sorted out.

Share Play FIFA 17 does not work
Hey, I am trying to play fifa 17 with my friend. We both have ps+. He can join my share play, and he can use his controller in the menus of fifa. But when we try to search a game, he cant join. It says that he needs to be connected to the Sony entertainment network. Can someone please help us?
External hard drive issues please help!
I bought a seagate backup plus 2TB external hard drive months ago. Plugged it in and reformatted following the directions I found online settings reformat blah blah super easy and I was downloading content to it and playing games off the external with no issues. Wake up today after buying Destiny 2 downloading it on to my seagate and ready to play but my external isn't being recognized. All games on external all showing the ! Next to them. Tried unplugging seagate turning off PS4 pro and turning on re connecting and I get nothing. Went to USB in settings and says nothing is connected.. light is on seagate and I can feel/hear the discs spinning inside.
I do leave the seagate plugged in at all times but make sure to close all apps before turning on PS4 with the seagate connected. Perhaps this is not the best thing to do but I've been doing it this way for months with zero issues.
Looking for some direction on this.. thank you all!
Trouble charging new controller
Does anyone else have this issue? I feel like I need to plug the micro USB in a few times before it actually holds a charge. It's a new controller and I've tried several different cables.
PSN has been down for two days
Everytime I get on my ps4 it's says PlayStation Network is under maintenance and when I put the error code in their website it just says Playstation network is down. Does anyone know if this is just me or if it's happening to multiple people.
Youtube wont sign in on ps4 ?
For some reason since today i cant sign in. When i try to upload something i need to sign in, i do that, i get code on phone, enter everything and it says that i am logged in. Then i choose youtube as service for upload and it asks me again for same info..

Bought dlc on one account, have to login that account and open game then login main account and open game to access dlc?
Title is vague sorry. I bought Ds3 DLC On my British account because my DS3 was British. I installed it and everything but want to play ds3 on my main account. Here are the steps I need to take.
1) Go on British account
2) open ds3 on British account
3) log out of British account and close game
4) open ds3 on main account
I have to do this every time I put my ps4 on rest mode or turn it off. Is there any workaround to this?
FYI: Putting the original HDD back in a PS4 does not erase it.
I'm upgrading from my old Glacier White PS4 to the Glacier White PS4 Pro. Before getting rid of my PS4 I wanted to pull the upgraded HDD out and put the original back in.
I've heard that, unlike the PS3, putting a new HDD in the PS4 makes the original drive not work. That's not necessarily true. When I started up the PS4 with the old HDD reinstalled it was right back where it was when I shutdown to do the swap. PT even works.
The only problem I could foresee is system software version differences between when the drive was removed and when you put it back in. But I only put a bigger HDD in recently so I don't know what issues that might cause. Maybe you just need the system software on a USB drive to update it.
But the act of setting up a new HDD does not immediately invalidate the old one.
What PS3 Games Would You Like On PS4?
I gave my PS3 to my father in law, so my nephews would have something to do when they visit. I didn't realize that I would still be missing my PS3. While a lot of games have made their way on to the PS4, I'm really missing Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Resistance 3, Ni No Kuni, and Catherine.
So, Reddit PS3 gamers. What games do you miss? What games do you really hope they bring to the PS4? Yes, I know people like like to complain about the price on remastered games. Having said that, I know I would be happy if Demon's Souls and Dark Souls were polished up a little and released again at full price...
PS4 controller unresponsive, any ideas?
Hello! Long story short, I have the 20th anniversary dualshock 4 controller, the ps1 looking one, and I love(d) it. But for some reason, it's not responsive.
For example, if I'm on the main menu and press left a few times on the left joystick and then down, it only registers MAYBE one of those inputs. It does the same in games. My other controllers work perfectly fine.
I have tried multiple times to reset it via the button on the back but have had no luck.
Normally I wouldn't care but this specific controller costs quite a bit, even used. And it looks good. I have tried contacting Sony to see if they could repair it for me (it's definitely out of warranty) but their chat isn't working for me atm.
Any ideas what I could do?

Is it possible for me to have 2 members of my family set their main PS4 to mine and I am able to play both of their purchased games? My account is set to so my older brother's PS4 is the main one but my younger brother just purchased one and bought a few games that I wouldn't mind trying.

I am currently using Audioengine D1 and I am trying to get PS4 audio along with PC audio to play through one headset at the same time. I have a USB plugged into my computer for PC audio and then the optical cord to the PS4. As it stands once i power up my PS4 i hear audio through that but lose audio in my PC.
Ideally i would like to play a game on PS4 hear everything while being in a discord on PC, is it possible? if so how with my current situation?
Upgraded mono chat mic recs?
I know this has come up over the years, but I'm not sure if there are any recent developments. I was perfectly happy with the official wireless PS3 chat mic and want something similar for the PS4. The pack-in mic doesn't sit well in my ear and has cruddy sound quality. I don't want full headphones - I don't care for headphones in the first place, I have an excellent pair of speakers, and I play in a room where noise doesn't matter. Ideally, I'd like something just like the PS3 wireless chat mic. Barring that, an upgraded version of the wired pack-in mic would be OK. This set from Amazon looked fine, but it didn't work properly. It's been a while since I tested it, but IIRC it worked correctly only if I set all audio to the headset (which is stupid). If I set chat only to the headset, my partners couldn't hear me or something. I can test again if anyone has a clever way to rewire it.
I've googled around a bit on the topic and it seems there have been third-party attempts at something like the old PS3 wireless mic, but they're either hard-to-find or have very sketchy reviews. But there must be something that will work for me, right?
PS4 won't turn on. Any help?
Basically title. My PS4 powers on and the blue light comes on for a few seconds and then shuts itself back off. The only way I can play it is to start it in safe mode, update it and then play. Anybody know how to fix so I do not have to do this anymore? And help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone else playstation UI been terribly laggy and incompetent lately?
For the past 2-3 days everytime I start up rainbow 6 siege it gets stuck on the Menu screen for about 5 mins then the console just shuts down. When I try to navigate the UI it's just extremely laggy. Has anyone else had this issue and does anyone know how to fix it?

Sounds simple doesn't it, well the email I want to switch to on my account is on another account which I don't have the password too. When I try to reset the password it asked for a Date of Birth and I just put random number for that, any work around? Thanks
Thoughts on Destiny 2
Ok so if anyone is interested... here are my thoughts on Destiny 2 after beating it at 430am. 1. Combat is fun, you can be jumping around And scrambling for your life. 2. It is a beautiful game. Even though it is frame locked to 30fps. 3. Sound is really great. 4. Campaign is decent. Final boss fight was grindy and felt kind of anti climactic. 5. After the endgame, like Destiny 1, things go off the rails. Its all about PVP and increasing those damn light levels. Feels like a total grind. 6. Missions like the Meditations are locked if you aren't in a party. That is bullshit. 7. Microtransactions. 8. For an mmo, they did not fix the interactions with other players. All you can do is wave, dance, bow and a custom emote. Still no trading or selling. Stupid. 9. Dlc expansion pack for $30. Fuck! The game itself costs 79.99. 10. There are only a handful of enemy types between 3 races. You feel like, been there...done that.
So initially, I would have given this game 8 out of ten kiwis. Now after having spent the past 3 days bleeding from my eyeballs from playing so much, I adjust that score to 6.5 Kiwis.
Sorry Adam, but I will be trading this back for full value. Will keep my save and might pick it up again if I get bored when i have a job... (or any income at all).

PS4 is having no visual/audio and is unable to be shut off
I've had this thing for several years, and I've had it hooked up to an HDMI port in my tv, which has always worked fine. When I turned it on yesterday I got no visual or audio, but the blue light started flashing. I tried to do a power reset, but the button is giving no feedback (no beeps) and my only other option as far as I know is to unplug it. Does anyone have any tips as to how to fix this or is it done for? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Infamous Second Son pausing for download in the middle of the game?
Did anyone else come across this issue? The past two nights I've been playing for an hour or so before the game will just pause to download game files before I can continue playing. Thing is the download time is usually around 5 hours so I end up not being able to play the rest of the night. Last night it didn't seem like I'd even come to the end of a chapter or anything so I don't know if its to do with downloading a chapter at a time?

Audio during cutscenes are out of sync
I've been having this problem for some time now and can't seem to find a solution.
I think I noticed it pretty heavily during Life is Strange and has continued now I'm playing Nier Automata. During cutscenes, the audio and visuals are out of sync. From Googling, it might be:
Audio lag
Audio latency
Bad HDMI cable
But I have had the same TV and PS4 for 3 years and the problem has only appeared in the last few months. I have a tried a range of solutions and none of them seem to work such as:
Editing Audio settings from 20 MS to 50-60 MS range (something about video processing time).
Changing the Audio Setting on the PS4 from Linear PCM / Dolby / Bitstream
I think the only thing I haven't done is change the HDMI cable because I don't know which one I would replace it with.
Has anyone had similar or know how to fix this please?
PS4 won't power on, eject button beeps when pressed.
My PS4 will not power on, no sound when the power button is pressed and connect a controller and pressing the ps button is doing noting. The only response from it is if you press the eject button it beeps like it normally would, but the disc doesn't eject and no lights come on. I have removed the power supply and checked and can see no signs of damaged components. Any else experience this, is it worth buying a new power supply?

What is the difference between Ryu Ga Gotoku and Yakuza?
- The Yakuza series is called Ryu Ga Gotoku (Like a Dragon | 龍が如く) in Asian countries.
Are there any Yakuza games that didn't make it over to the West?
- Yes, but they are spin-offs. Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan! and Ishin both take place in feudal Japan. Kurohyou is a series of spin-offs released for PSP by the developers of Def Jam. They are good games but are not necessary to enjoying the main canonical plotline of the series.
What is Yakuza: Dead Souls? Is it canon?
- No, this is a spin-off game about a zombie outbreak occurring in Kamurocho, and focuses on shooting mechanics rather than brawling. It's full of fan-service and quirky moments the series is known for, but was not well received in the West and ultimately not a fundamental game in the series. It does star fan favourites like Goro Majima (who you know from Zero) and Ryuji Goda from Yakuza 2, which is fun. You can buy it physically or digitally on PS3.
What is Yakuza Kiwami and how is it different from 6?
- Yakuza Kiwami is a full remake of the first Yakuza game with additional content, and uses the same gameplay from Yakuza 0. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is an upcoming title that follows Yakuza 5 chronologically and is built on a completely new engine that utilizes the power of the PS4. Kiwami was released on both PS3 and PS4 in Japan but will only be available on PS4 in the West.
Where can I buy older Yakuza games?
- Yakuza 1 and 2 were released on PS2, with a HD Remaster collection available exclusively in Japan. Yakuza 3, 4, Dead Souls, and 5 are on PS3. You can buy the latter three games on the Playstation Network but the first three may be hard to come by. There is a limited reprint issued for the first four games available at certain retailers and Amazon.
Why are some names changed from Zero?
- Yakuza 1 changed many names during the localisation process to avoid confusion. Since Shintaro Kazama's name was too close to Kazuma's, he was changed to Shintaro Fuma. Nishikiyama was shortened to Nishiki. The Florist of Sai (Sai no Hanaya) was changed to Kage the Florist. These are the only really significant name changes, but they are important to keep in mind since Kazama is referred to as Fuma until Yakuza 4.
Do any of the games feature an English voice track?
- Only the first game. From 2 onward, they have been Japanese with English subtitles.
I played the Japanese version of the game(s) and they had a different soundtrack during select sequences than the international version. Why?
- This is due to licensing fees. SEGA America opts not to re-license commercial songs, which is why intros and select scenes in the game will have different music.
What is Yakuza: Like a Dragon?
- It is a film adaptation of the first game directed by Takeshi Miike and starring famous Japanese crime-genre actors like Kazuki Kitamura and Show Aikawa. You can watch it on select streaming services or buy it here.
Have Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios made any other games separate from the Yakuza series?
- Yes. They created a third-person, squad-based shooter game called Binary Domain in 2012. It's rather good and has all the great writing and character development you would see in a Yakuza title. It is available physically and digitally on PS3, Xbox 360 and digitally on PC. In Japan, it even included a dlc pack for multiplayer where you could play as the cast from Yakuza: Dead Souls.
Are there any new games coming out from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios in the near future?
- Yes. RGG Studios is currently working on Ryu Ga Gotoku: Kiwami 2, a remake of Yakuza 2, which will be releasing this winter in Japan. In addition, they are working an online RGG game for Windows and Mobile Phones and a spin-off based on Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken titled "Hokuto Ga Gotoku". Also, they are working on a new console Yakuza game codenamed as "Shin: Ryu Ga Gotoku" (New Yakuza).
Who is this Kazuga Ichiban guy I've been seeing in all of the new Yakuza announcement videos?
- Ichiban is the official new protagonist of Ryu Ga Gotoku starting with Ryu Ga Gotoku Online and continuing onto New Yakuza. He will replace the Kazuma Kiryu, who was the starring protagonist since Yakuza 1 on PS2.

Long time XBONE user, and I can't figure out how to invite non-friend players to my games without first having to add them to a coms party.
On XBONE, I could search for a user, and simply send him an invite to the game I'm playing. When I search for a player, all I see is "add to party, send message, block etc etc.
Is there a way to just shoot someone a game invite without having them in you friends list or party?

SharePlay Connection Test Request
My friend and I are trying to play Rayman Legends using Shareplay.
He is located in GA and hosting the game. I'm in VA trying to connect to his PS4 (both are PS4 Pro with PSPlus account).
We both have decent connection where my friend has around 150mb download and 9-15mb upload and I have 200mb download and 30-50mb upload.
I can't connect to his shareplay no matter the setting on PS network or his router. We set port forwarding and DNS to Google on both end.
The odd thing is that he can connect to my shareplay easily. I started Ratchet and Clank and set shareplay to give controller to other and he can control and see the screen.
Only definite way to narrow down to my friend's network problem is for me to try to connect to different PS4 shareplay.
Can someone host a shareplay temporary and see if I can connect to different PS4? Shareplay can be single player or multiplayer co-op game.

Does anyone else experience FPS drops in Nioh?
I remember I never had this issue before, but it's been a month+ now that I have constant FPS drops and in general the game feels laggy with unresponsive commands and weird spikes when I rotate the camera. It frustrates me a lot cause I used to play really well due to the smooth FPS but now I find myself dying A LOT due to these issues. Is this common to everyone or it could be something with my console?

It just seems like lately this generation of consoles is following the Mobile gaming process of making the game a grind and charging for loot boxes or cosmetics or even game changing content. No matter the company, We've seen it all the way from Naughty Dog (The Last of Us is great but the mp dlc is bs) to Bungie. What do you guys think it would take to end this trend? And I understand the "oh it's just cosmetics" but honestly idc, if I pay 60 for your game and I'm paying for a subscription to even play online I don't think paying for colors or currency should exist. Personally I think if they have these in them the game shouldn't be dropping at 60 but 45 or 30....

Using External HDD Need Help
This is more a query than anything else, but bare with me. Long story short, My Brother has recently moved out with his ps4 and other things, and with the release of Destiny 2, due to us living in the same house we had the Primary Account feature and obviously shared games. In his new house his internet is absolutely abysmal and he bought Destiny 2 for himself but for the time being is taking more than a couple days to finish the download. He is visiting for a short while soon and was wondering if I could transfer my already downloaded Destiny application on to the other ps4 using an External HDD? I would think because he's bought it too it would be usable for him but I think if it's transferred off mine and on to his, I would have to re-download it myself again etc... not too sure on how the HDD support actually works...

Simple question, looking for some advice.... Want to buy a new ps4-wireless-headset (playing at the moment with a wired razer headset). Tried the ps4 wireless stereo headset 2.0 and honestly i am shocked....sound is ok bit the micro sucks totally, sounds awful (too bright/metallic).

I recently got divorced, moved out of my house. I ordered the PS4 Pro destiny bundle, and a 2TB HDD. So after I get the console, I'm going to install the HDD, update the software, then take it back to my old house to transfer the data.
The main question I have is, I want to leave my old PS4 with my kids so we can play games together. They all have sub accounts under my PSN account.
Which PS4 do I leave as my primary? Do I set my new one as Primary, will my kids still be able to play my games? Or do I leave the old one as primary, and then will I be able to access my games at my new place?

Need to give Props to Playstation Support
My slim started making a horrible noise like it was trying to spin up the hard drive but couldn't. I sent the chat agent a vocaroo link and they pre-authorized a service send-in with no other troubleshooting. I sent the unit in, expecting to be out of a system for at least a few weeks. Here I am just barely over a week later and not only did they replace the hard drive that was failing, but they also replaced one of the rubber feet that had come out and more dramatically, replaced the entire top cover panel. Mine had a pretty deep gouge from the dog running over it. It was purely cosmetic but it was so nice that they went ahead and did that for me! Edit: serial number matches so I don't think it was a replacement

Problems with Nacon Revolution controller
Hey guys,
I just bought a new controller yesterday for PS4, my other one's getting a little old and beaten up so I thought I'd get a new one and keep the old one as a spare.
I've been trying to use it since then and I've run into a read a major problem with the controller. First off when programming macros, for some reason each macro HAS to start with an R3. I can add other buttons and change them, but the first can't be changed from R3.
R3 has another problem in actual gaming too. For some reason it doesn't register as a button push while I'm playing, I've got to change controller for R3 or set R3 as one of the macro buttons - I don't really use the macros but that'd leave me with one less if I ever did use them.
I've also tried to log in to 2 games using the controller, but for each one once I've gotten to the splash (I'm allowed to use it to pick a game), I have to use another controller to sign in then switch back to the Nacon.
Are these common problems, can I fix them myself - or should I take it back to the store?

Modem keeps restarting whenever I turn my playstation on

PS4 Madden 18 error code CE-34878-0
So my friends and I have a Madden 18 franchise over the cloud and we do not allow any restarts to the games. My one friend has got this error code whiling playing and says that it does not give him the resume or delete option when he reboots his system and he has to restart the game all over again. Does anyone know if this is true? Also a second friend happen to be online while the first friend was playing this game when he got the error message. The second friend says he saw the score of our first friend's game and he was losing 14-28 before the error code. The first friend says that the second friend must of miss read it and he was winning 28-14. But the second friend was with 2 other people in the room who saw it too lol... Thoughts?
Weird DS4 v2 analog stick issue, please help!
Today I turned on my PS4 for the first time in a month and I get this weird issue with my left analog stick. It stutter steps all the time and slows down movement on Dragon age inquisition. Whenever I move the left analog stick to the top left corner it slows down movement and stops. On Rainbow six siege it moves forward when I hold down L2 and has the same movement issue as dragon age.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

What are some games or projects that you would really like to see on this console? Don't worry if their chances of happening are more or less nil, mine practically are! RANDOM BLACK SCREEN 1-3 seconds long
So here's the story hadn't played my PS4 for ages, picked up the new PS4 PRO Destiny 2 version, "PS4 is also destiny version". For me and my wife. My PS4 pro is flawless while the godamn regular will not stop randomly going black and no sound!!?? Please help me I looked around and everything is 3-4 year old posts that don't help! Steps done 1. Change resolution 2. Turn off hdr and deep color 3. Rebuild database 4. New HDMI cable so wtf do I do now should I get a different hdmi it's just a GE hdmi idk if that's it? Details about Uncharted 4's troubled development revealed
In June 2013, when The Last of Us came out, fans and critics wouldn't stop raving. It was the most successful game in Naughty Dog's history, turning Straley and Druckmann into game development rock stars and ensuring that they'd be project leads at Naughty Dog for as long as they wanted to be.
During those same years, from 2011 to 2014, Amy Hennig spent her days working with a small team on Uncharted 4. They had some ideas for how to switch things up. They wanted to add vehicles, for one. Maybe a grappling hook. And, most surprisingly, they wanted to have Nathan Drake go half the game without picking up a gun.
Critics had called out previous Uncharted games for the dissonance between their stories, in which Drake is an amiable fun-loving hero, and their gameplay, in which Drake can murder thousands of enemy soldiers without missing a beat. Hennig and her team thought it might be an interesting twist for Drake to stick to melee for a while, to show that the puckish adventurer could change his ways.
Uncharted 4, as Hennig envisioned it, would introduce the world to Nathan Drake’s old partner, Sam. We hadn’t seen Sam in previous Uncharted games, because for fifteen years Nathan had thought he was dead, left behind during a Panamanian prison escape gone awry. In Hennig’s version of Uncharted 4, Sam would be one of the main villains, bitter toward Nathan for leaving him to die.
Over the course of the story, as Nathan tried to pull away from his roots as a treasure hunter, the player would find out that he and Sam were actually brothers. Eventually they’d heal their relationship and unify against the game’s real antagonist, a nasty thief named Rafe (voiced by the actor Alan Tudyk) who had served time with Sam in prison.
At the beginning of 2014, as Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley finished up work on an expansion for The Last of Us called Left Behind, the studio went into emergency mode, calling several meetings in an attempt to diagnose the problems with Uncharted 4.
There are conflicting perspective on what happened next. Some say the Uncharted 4 team didn’t get the staff and resources it needed to survive, because The Last of Us and Left Behind had vacuumed up so much of Naughty Dog’s attention. Others say that Amy Hennig had trouble making decisions and that the nascent game wasn’t shaping up very well. Some who were working on Uncharted 4 wished that there was a more cohesive direction. Others thought it was perfectly understandable, considering how small the Uncharted 4 staff was, that the game hadn’t coalesced yet.
One part of the story is indisputable, however: in March 2014, after meeting with Naughty Dog’s copresidents, Wells and Christophe Balestra, Amy Hennig exited the studio and didn’t come back. Hennig’s creative partner Justin Richmond left shortly afterward, as did a few other veterans who had worked closely with Hennig. “It’s something that happens at different levels,” said Wells. “It happened to happen at a fairly high level. But we have turnover for various reasons throughout the studio. And Amy’s a friend of mine, I really miss her and I wish her well -but things weren’t working out. So we went our separate ways, and we had to pick up the pieces.
Several people who have worked for Naughty Dog say Druckmann and Straley stopped seeing eye-to-eye with Hennig, and that they had fundamental disagreements on where to take the Uncharted series. When Hennig left, she signed a nondisparagement agreement with the studio that would prevent both her and Naughty Dog from making negative public comments about what had happened, according to people familiar with the arrangement. (Hennig declined to be interviewed for this book.)
Immediately after Hennig’s departure, Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra called Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley into a meeting to tell them that she was gone. Both Druckmann and Straley wanted to work on other games they’d been playing around with prototypes for a sequel to The Last of Us and Straley in particular was feeling burned out. But when asked to lead the development of Uncharted 4, they said they’d do it on one condition: they needed full creative control. They weren’t interested in finishing the story that Hennig had started, and while they’d try to salvage some of the characters (like Sam and Rafe) and environments (big areas in Scotland and Madagascar), they’d also have to throw out a lot of work that Uncharted 4’s team had done so far.
They would need to scrap a great deal of cut scenes, voicework and animation, which the studio had spent millions of dollars developing. They wanted to recast the major roles, which would mean ditching Alan Tudyk as Rafe and Todd Stashwick as Sam, and other voice actors who had already recorded lines.
Right away, Druckmann and Straley made a decision that they thought might cause controversy: Uncharted 4 would be the last Uncharted game, or at least the last one starring Nathan Drake. The studio had been mulling this option under Hennig, but now it was official “We looked at the previous games,” said Druckmann. “We looked at the arcs, looked at where Nathan Drake was at, what kind of stories are still left to tell, and the only one that came to our mind was the final one, how do we take him out?”
During the Amy Hennig years, the team had tinkered with all sorts of gray-box prototypes for Uncharted 4. There was a slide mechanic that would allow Drake to propel forward. There were cliff walls that Drake could shoot and then scale, using the bullet holes as handholds to climb his way up.
There was a scene in an Italian auction house in which the player could switch among multiple characters, hunting for clues as Drake and crew attempted to steal an artefact without drawing suspicion from the crowd. At one point, during a gala in the auction house, Drake and Elena would have to dance across a fancy ballroom, manoeuvring closer and closer to the artefact as the player pressed buttons along with the beat of the music, sort of like you would in a rhythm game.

Using unofficial headsets with the PS4?
I have a bit of a weird question. I have a natural afro that's getting bigger by the day, and the headset I have presses uncomfortably into my hair (Turtle Beach, standard headset shape, large over-the-ear cups). I was thinking about getting one of those Bluetooth headphones with built-in mics, the ones that wrap around the back of the head instead.
So I was wondering if anyone had experience using headphones not officially endorsed by Sony to use with the PS4. What, if any, extra equipment would I need? How does it sound? Does voice chat work okay? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Who would be more likely to buy a game for 50$?
I think if games cut their prices by 10 dollars, the upticks in sales would likely even out the loss of profit. Especially if its a game that is a platform that can be expanded on, because then as the company you've increased your audience, and now have more reachable consumers for any future revenue-generating operations. Sorry if that seems like jargon, I'm coming at this from an economic background, but I think that $50 games would do a lot for the industry, and be a win win for the customer and developers.

I'm trying to play my PS4 on my monitor and it works for about 10 minutes then the screen just continuously turns on and off saying nothing it's connected. I have a Hdmi- VGA adapter. Do some monitors not work fully with PS4?

Last week, I was just wrapping up Darksiders and, upon getting the Platinum, I went to upload the news online. When I attempted to do so, I found I had been logged out forcefully and my account had been banned for the above code. Despite support services saying that an email should have arrivied, I've been left in the cold since then.

DS4 only working in PS menu but not in games
Yes, I am aware that there are several other threads on this matter, but I feel like I need a more specific solution. Last week I've tried disassembling my DS4 and cleaning the contacts for the face buttons, which indeed were quite dirty, and even a few wood chips were found within my controller. So I clean it and start up Yakuza 0. It starts working for like 2 minutes, so I gave myself a pat on the back and headed to the kitchen for some juice now that I can continue playing my games. I pick up the controller, and the DS4 decides it doesn't want to work in game again. My preorder of Kiwami just came in the mail, so I tried disassembling and cleaning once more. No luck. Any other suggestions before I look in the secondhand market for DS4s?
P.S. Another detail I thought I might add is that the light bar no longer lights up when in use. Don't know if that helps or not.

Netflix App Stuttering and Unresponsive
Anybody else having similar issues with the Netflix app?
The main menu and video player can be unresponsive where I can't scroll or select a movie and then after a moment all of the inputs will happen at once.
Also having another problem with the player where sound will play but the picture will freeze, normally coupled with an unresponsive video player.
Anybody experiencing anything similar or have any solutions?
Why does the new Ubisoft 2017 theme use Far cry 5 music as the theme tune?

What kind of game series is Gundam Versus ?
I heard a while back that it was like a PvE focused game were a group of players defeat a very tough boss type robot. But all the videos i've seen seems to indicate this is just a PvP game. I know it says versus on the title and it's a given that it might just be a gundam pvp fighting game but i was given false information / or what not. Or am i confusing games?

So I have one main account with PS Plus games and on my 2nd pSN acc I have knack and god of war.I can play Knack and GoW through the 2 accounts so by this logic they are connected eachother as Sub accounts.is this legal? Its on my and only PS4 console, no sharing no trading.
[Help] PS4 keeps freezing, wont start up anymore
I've got a standard launch model PS4 which I've had for maybe 2 and a half years now, its had no problems at all until recently when its kept freezing, not during games but when watching stuff on netflix or in the main menu and then it wont respond or turn off from its main button leaving me no choice but to unplug it (which I shouldn't do I know but otherwise I cant do anything) and then when it starts up, sometimes without me having had to reboot it, it often gives me a 'rebuilding database' notice. This has been frustrating and a bit worrying but fine because it always works again.
Last night however I loaded up netflix, chose a film then went to get some food and when I came back the screen was black, I pressed the PS button on my controller and it went to the main menu except, of course it was frozen and wouldn't respond so I had to unplug it. When I start it up now it says it cant start up and asks me to insert a USB device with the latest system update on it, which I have but even with that done it says 'The update fie cannot be used', I downloaded it direct from the Playstation site and the folders are both in full caps so I just have no idea what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it so any help would be really appreciated.

Game wont install
I just bought Zombie Army Trilogy and when I tried installing it keeps saying that there's an error has occurred. When I went to my storage to see if I needed to make room it says I have 29.85 GB available. I've looked online and tried deleting the download and re download it and restarting my ps4 but nothing is working.
Rip PS4?
Had a power outage while the PS4 was turning on. Now it restarts a couple of times before turning on and shut off while playing once. Is there a fix to this or am I completely fucked?

I normally use costo.ca to purchase PSN codes when Playstation decides to stop accepting my credit card for no reason at all every few months (it's happened to me 3 times now. Customer service just says to wait 24 hours and try again. Sigh..), but I've noticed that it now says that the codes get delivered within 2 business days.

I just woke up my PS4 from hibernation and it notified me it had downloaded an update automatically, and asked if I would like to install it. As far as I know, I have all auto-updating and internet connectivity setting disabled. Anyone know where I missed something? Or is this to be expected? Thanks.

Does my PS4 Slim disc drive sound normal?
When I put a disc inside my PS4 Slim, I keep hearing these clicking/tapping noises; almost like my disc is bumping something in the drive or something. You hear two taps at the 10 second mark, then a few taps after that, then it stops spinning. What is this tapping sound? Is it normal?
Question about buying US PSN Cards on Amazon from outside of US.
I am from India .Amazon says these cards are for US customers only. I have come up with 2 ideas .(1)Use the address given by Borderlinx at the checkout using a VPN (2) Buy an e-gift card from Amazon ,mail it to myself,redeem it and use it to buy the psn card from that .------------- Any idea on which one of these can work.
Are there any headsets to talk to people that aren't over the ear?
Sucks to have a good sound system and then have to choose between it and talking to people online.

Ive been interested in adding one of these set ups to my TV and was wondering if anyone else is using them? I also was wondering if there was any additional input lag? I play a lot of FPS games, so obviously that would be a bummer if it was adding too much lag.
[Destiny 2] Player model quality suffered a serious drop in quality from D1 to D2.
Below are pictures of what a player model looked like in Destiny, versus how it now looks in Destiny 2 with the same exact customization options.
There has been a clear downgrade in quality between games. If you spent hours and hours creating your characters in D1 and were happy with how they turned out, be prepared for them to look like a cheap Chinese knock-off when you import them into D2.
It's curious, because NPC models in D2 have pretty uniformly improved over their old ones.
Unfortunately, the Destiny sub seems to be in full "Destiny 2 is perfect and anyone who doesn't think so is just a hater" mode, so every time this issue has been brought up it's either gotten little traction or been instantly downvoted. The only criticism that's actually gotten tread is the consumable shader issue, because that was just too egregious to suppress (although there are still people who defend it).
