What are some crazy hard or ridiculously fun co-op games on the PS4?
Me and a friend love co-op games. Like we've been gaming together since we were both on ps3's. playing LBP and resident evil and things like that. We've both just kinda want more. more fun or hard or both. We are currently running through all of resident evil 6 on no hope mode from scratch to give us as much of a challenge as possible. What I wanna know is what do you and your buddy play? what's some uber frustrating online coop craziness that we can dive into?
What do you guys think of the gold PS4?
I actually got to get my hands on it today, although the color is ok, its texture is really smooth, unlike the black ps4 slim. What do you guys think? Is gold too much?
Questions Regarding PS4 Remote Play
If I use my PS4 controller, can it run out of battery if not connected using the PS4 USB adapter?
Also, when using the internet on remote play? Which internet connection does it use? The area where the PS4 is, or the area you are streaming?
So I dropped my external hard drive...
When unplugging it and plugging it back in, it tells me "This device cannot be used. Try disconnecting it then connecting it again." Which I have, over and over. I even used a different USB cord to try hooking it up to the PS4, as I was not getting this message with the original cord. It's a 3TB My Book. Any recommendations? Any help is appreciated!
Has anyone had success using remote play on fire tv/fire tv stick as of late?
I was able to install remote play on my fire tv initially but it was an older version and the PS4 wouldn't allow me to use it until I updated the APK to 2.0 . Currently with the APKs I have tried it gives me an error saying the APK is corrupt and cannot be installed. Any advice? Fire TV is also up to date
Is the PlayStation Protection Plan a good buy?

My current external hdd is formatted as a Media Player (videos/music). If I format it as Extended Storage, will it not be able to play videos/music through the PS4 anymore?
I was looking to have some extra storage and since I'm only using half of my external hdd's space with videos/music (to play on my PS4) I figured I could use that to store a couple games. But I have no idea if formatting it as Extended Storage will remove it's ability to be a Media Player at the same time.

Hi,as the title says everytime I try to play I keep getting this error message I don't see why this would happen other then the recent blackouts in my house but the weird thing is only my account is effected by this error I made a new account on the same ps4 and it works normally! Now I know what you're thinking "Why don't you just make a new account?" I've put in countless hours into multiple games and I honestly have no idea how to transfer save data or if that's even possible. I'm not sure how to check the PS4 for bed bugs or how to get rid of them. Some things I Google say they don't usually infest electronics but some things say they do. Has anyone dealt with this before and has any tips? No idea what they even look like or how to check. Thanks.

So I bought the Crash Remaster on disc yesterday. Popped it in and tried to play, and I kept getting a corruption error. I decided to try and buy it digitally to see if it was the disc at fault, and ran into a similar problem there as well. After getting my console completely wiped and restored, I sought to get a refund for the digital copy, as I hadn't even downloaded it. Apparently though, Sony can take my money for a digital license that I won't use, but can deny me a refund because they saw the game running. It may not amount to much, but Sony will never again see another penny come from me.

Clearing out npc's before all the doors would open. You gain level up's like more powerful kinetic's, plasma rounds, bouncing bullets, HE rounds and you could also upgrade your mech faster turn radius, quick walk, etc.
Are there any twin stick shooters of the mech variety? Space Vortex(online game that never took off) looks outstanding so any games like that as well.
I'll try binding of isaac at some point... if anyone mentions that one.

Sony can actually steal my ps4
I have never questioned sony ever. Ive had all of the playstations and have always loved them. But the past two days have been absolutely terrible. I came home to play video games after a day out and was greeted with the error WS-37397-9.
I thought to myself I could simply restart my router or modem and ill be fine right? But no, i restarted multiple Times and and nothing. I searched the errors name on google and started reading articles on how to solve this and then I started seeing that this means that Sony bans your ip because of you trying to ddos them.
I started wondering how could I get banned like this? Ive never hacked anything. I just get on in the afternoon to play destiny and overwatch with my freinds. Then I helplessly start googling and finding stories of people that even give up because they simply cannot get passed this error.
Then I started seeing that what mainly helps is changing your IP so I contacted my ISP and they told me the only way I can change my ip is by changing the modem so I did. Then I come home with the new modem and plug it in and connect it to the router and fire up my ps4s and test the internet connection then my heart just sinks because the damn error code shows up again and I still cant sign in. Thats when I got really scared.
I was thinking on how unfair sony can actually be, they are literally stealing my ps4 from me. One of my most prized possessions because it allows me to disconnect from the real world and play with my freinds. And all the money ive put into sony buying games, controllers, ps4s memberships and it just gets stolen for no reason at all? I couldnt even sign on my laptop because I would get an access denied message. I felt like I was the one being ddossed.
I contacted sony and they basically turned me away telling me everything I already knew about the error and told me to call my isp and they could fix it. I called and after like 3 hours I got it to work. I connected my PS4 to the modem and the ISP would reset the modem from their place and I was able to connect my ps4 to psn finally. But then I started thinking that im probably gonna have to get a new router. I connected my router to the modem again and from router to ps4s and tested my connection again and it connected to psn. I have no idea what I exactly did but its working right now as im typing this.
The thing is that now I feel traumatized because I feel they might just do it again and im going to have to find another solution to fix it. I really hope not because Destiny 2 beta is just around the corner and im super hyped.
Hopefully sony can fix this problem. Its super nasty, and apparently they do it because of me trying to ddoss them, when ive never even really know exactly what ddossing was untill I had this problem . I feel like they're the ones who ddossed me! It literally felt like someone stole my ps4 from me for 2 days.
Anyone else had this terrible error before? I feel like it just might happen again, I feel so vulnerable right now.
[ERROR] WS-37397-9 Solution ?
As mentioned in the title i'm curiously looking for a solution to the errorcode WS-37397-9. I don't know if it's the right community to ask but i'm very desperate atm. So i tried every kind of "Solution" that the internet provided me. However none of them seem to work for me. I know that the most obvious fix would be to call sony support and let them fix it. Apparently sony support is only available from mon-fri so i can't ask for help, and to submit a ticket would take to long for me. I did call my ISP and asked nicely if they could change my Ip-Address but they didn't corporate too well. Anyways i'm just looking for a fast solution as i don't want to throw my free weekend away. (I noticed the error actually today, wasn't online for like a week so idk exactly when this could've happened) If anyone has a clue feel free to post it here. Thanks in advance !
My Brother Broke the PS4
Last week I was away from home for a summer program. I came back to find that my younger brother had somehow borked our PS4. He's been entirely unhelpful in actually figuring out how he did it, but I've been looking up how to fix it.
The error is "Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 4.70 or later. (CE-34788-0)". I've looked into this error and apparently it can be easily fixed by downloading and installing a file from Sony's official website.
However, there's a problem: if I do, it will delete all the data on the PS4. I'm really not too keen on deleting all my save data. Does anyone know of another way to fix this that isn't going to set me back to square 1 on every game I own?
PS4 problems after a power outage
About a week or two ago we had a power outage at my house, it's rare but it happens. My PS4 had been in sleep mode since DS3's DLC and Monster Hunter had drawn me away from NiOh, but when I returned to try to give it a go and make use of the passcode I got on Green Man Gaming, my PS4 had that same problem it sometimes does after an outage where the video just doesn't work at all when I boot it up. One time I had sound but no visual, and after doing the usual "unplug everything then plug back in the power cables and then the HDMI cables" that usually would work I managed to get it working... but it only shows purple or red, and either a blank spread screen of it or thin bars.
Any help here? Is it just the HDMI cables or am I more thoroughly fucked over?

I opened the ps store and when I read carefully, it says best of PS3 on the left and then it quickly faded out saying "this content can't be selected" and when i entered again, nothing was there, weird huh?

So, I have some games installed on my external hard drive on my ps4, the thing is that I have 2 ps4 at my house and my internet is not fast enough to download the games twice, I play with my brother online so moving the External Hard Drive from ps4 to ps4 is not an option, I tried to see if I could make a copy of the game on my windows pc, but is not recognized and disk management asks me to format the drive, obviously sony did something to prevent this, Do you know if theres a way to copy the contents of the Drive into the pc, I haven't tried on Linux but I don't think it'll work.
Help please... Playing zombies online with friend at same console
Thanks for taking the time to look at this. Today I had a friend over and we were trying to get a few Zombies runs going on COD BO3. I recently purchased the Zombies chronicles so we could play Keno and Shang ri LA etc. When we "hit X to add player", the screen popped up for him to login. He does not own a playstation at all, so I was like fine, I'll use my other email address to create a PSN account, so I did that, and we played. This was Wednesday. He came over to play again today, and now after he logs in under the new created PSN username, the screen pops up saying he needs a PS PLUS account now... is my $60 a year really not enough to have a friend over to play a video game online with me split screen?? Am I missing something obvious? We probably spent a good hour trying to figure this out, I searched online, I chatted with PSN online customer service who said "Idk , try contacting activision", and now I'm here. We ended up just adding a child account and playing local (not multiplayer), but we both enjoy online so we can play with 2 other real people and have 4 in our matches. Please help if you can :)

I used to grind crucible and strikes in Destiny while listening to podcasts but I need a new game to play till Destiny 2 comes out. I'm thinking of getting Payday 2 or No Man's Sky but I am open to any suggestions.
20th anniversary edition DS4 completely unresponsive
I tried the reset button, nothing. Swapped out the battery with one I know works, nothing. I thought, "Ha! I will just swap the guts from another DS4!" Nope, can't do it. The peg for the screw that holds the board down on the 20th is on the opposite side of where the regular DS4's peg is. So, I cannot properly seat the board/guts.
I have zero idea as to what could have caused this because the controller was on 1 battery and was working fine last night. I'm totally bummed because I absolutely love this controller and getting another new one will be even pricier now.
Anyone know of anything I can do other than buying a new one? Any help is much appreciated.
N.Sane Trilogy might be the absolute most beautiful game I've ever played, no joke. This is what gaming should aspire to be. This is what graphics should aspire to be.
Of course, not all games work in a non-realistic art style, but those that do...this game is a standard to reach for.
Very little jaggies (I can only recall seeing them on the "bars" on the sides of the multiple-hit boxes), wonderful lighting, bright and vibrant colors everywhere, amazing textures (I don't think I've seen a thing I could describe as "blurry" yet), shaders are impeccable, detail density is beyond reason, everything is wonderful.
There are only a few situations where I've thought "That could've been done better" and it's very minor stuff, like a platform intersecting with water without interacting with it.
This game looks like a living CG movie. It is beautiful.
Has Anyone Else Received a Message on an Offline PSN Account? Privacy Settings Not Working?
I have a number of accounts, some of which have never had a Plus membership and have never been used online other than to purchase games from the store. Recently I received a message from a random person with no trophies or activity on their account.
I'm curious as to how they got the alt account name, not to mention how they managed to message me despite the fact the privacy settings shouldn't allow anyone to message that particular account.
Any thoughts? Should I be worried? For what it's worth I blocked the user and left the group they created.

I've played the demo on my PS4 and I've seen it on sale on PSN for £17.99 and considering it atm. But considering the studio has split from parent company Squenix, will it still be supported now or is that up to Squenix? Will the next Hitman game if made follow seasons model or will they go for a complete game? As far as sandbox stealth games, is it the best out there? I hear people have more fun trying out stuff than completing mission at times. What alternatives are there to Hitman that play in a similar way on PS4?

The game asks that I download the content for the season pass but when I go to the PS Store page to download the Season Pass it says that it is already downloaded. (Also weird thing to note that the Season Pass on the PS Store is only 1.1 Mb which makes no sense considering that it is supposed to include all of the DLC ) Thoughts?

Not sure if this is exactly the right place to post this. My budget is around $150 but I don't have to spend the entire amount if I don't need to. I was going to ask for headset recommendations only but I've been told that headphones have better sound quality. I'm looking for headphones/headsets that (In no particular order)

New PS4 today after being a long time Xbox player and I need help with the UI
Why in the world is my UI one long was line filled with blocks I don't need? I have 4 games now and they are all just slapped on my home screen in a line. All the blocks aren't even in alphabetical order. Why do I have a library if it's going to do this? It's ugly and annoying. How do I remove blocks from my screen and make my games only shown up in my library? It even has playroom on my screen and I don't even have the camera. I don't mind it showing my current game just not everything. Theres also a few I don't use like PlayStation vue and a t.v. one and something else.
Help! PS4 console issue
Just recently my PS4 has been slow(menu, every game, app, even just browsing the menu)and freezing sometimes when I power it off. So decided to put it into safe mode. In safe mode it says connect controller, so I do but controller only blinks and screen never changes. But when I'm out of safe mode the controller with the cable works perfectly normal. So I can't do jack s*** in safe mode and when I'm out of safe mode my PS4 is super sluggish and can't really enjoy any game. Time to get a new one? Oh and it's the very first model PS4 if that helps

Will boost mode override Pro upgrades?
For example, Battlefield 1. If you're using a 1080p screen I hear it downsamples to provide a clearer image than the base model's dynamic 1000p.
But what if boost mode is engaged? Will the game no longer use the Pro upgrade, and instead just boost the base profile?
Or can I use boost mode knowing that my pro upgrades aren't being affected?

I've been doing some looking into the game library of the PS4, it's no secret it's huge and has so much variety. I was especially surprised to the see how affordable certain games have become and I really enjoyed seeing several indie titles get physical releases such as This is the police and The Steamworld collection.
My question to you is which one of the hidden gem/indie/budget/cheap games would you recommend to me or indeed anyone on this sub?
My recommendation to everyone would be DOOM or Dishonored 2. Both games are readily available at about £10 each and are definitely worth a punt.

Where are the modern set action games?
Besides GTA V and Sleeping Dogs, where are the modern day action games? I mean modern day and not post apocalyptic. Is it just more expensive to develop games like the movies: Baby Driver, John Wick, James Bond, Fast and Furious franchise, and titles such as that. It's a huge gap in the market I believe. Not just a PS4 problem, i can't think of many titles across systems that fit the "modern setting slightly realistic" genre.

Broken screw head on PS4 battery pack
So this morning I decided to dust out my PS4 and at first everything was going smoothly, removing all of the screws I needed to but then I noticed the left side screw on the battery pack (it's one of the longer ones with some triangle piece on the neck) wouldn't unscrew and when I looked at it compared to the right side one it looked kinda melted I guess you can say, even when trying to unscrew it some of dust from it was coming off. How can I get this screw off? I even tried the rubber band thing but it didn't help too much either.
TL;DR: the screw head on my battery pack is messed up and I can't get it out, what should I do?

Region locked games (dlc)
After getting a Ps4 for Christmas I finally was able to afford to buy a game after much saving. I bought The Last Of Us Remastered for £20 ($25). I bought it off Amazon directly and it turned up today only to find out none of the DLC will work as they sent me a American copy and not a EU version. Is this a common occurrence? I don't know if I should keep the game or not as I really want to play the game but if I keep it I will be missing out on all the DLC which is included as it the game of the year edition so everything should be there. To keep or not to keep?

I bought the PS4 Gold 1TB and so far I'm unimpressed. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the exclusives, far better than my PC exclusives, but the console itself is just awful. The apps consistently fail to load, I can't get good speeds from my 5GHz network, the store app loads infinitely, it constantly crashes, and to put the icing on the cake...the summer sale is absolutely horrid. Even the XBOX ONE could compete with steam sales this summer but ps4's sales are garbage.
I'm not too upset, as I'm usually a PC gamer, but fuck man.

I am a new user. Got ps4 this February. Recently wanted to have online gameplay so i went on to add my card to psn account. But what i saw is it just says add credit card and not add credit/debit card like before. Any how i tried to add. It says check credit card number.
I am from india. So can anyone confirm for me if they have stopped accepting debit cards. Badly wanna play mortal kombat online.

Why do some countries get servers and others don't?
Hello. I live in South Asia, more specifically Bangladesh and its crazy how bad some companies are regarding providing servers which accommodate South and South East Asia. This is an uniquely console only situation because games like Dota and CSGO gives me server choices from multiple locations near me, averaging pings of 60-100.
BF1 only has data centers in Japan, which gives us a ping of near 300. Rainbow Siege won't tell me where its servers are but I connect at 250ms. Thats not really good ping for a game which needs quick hands.
Surprisingly, Titanfall 2 has the best servers and I connect to the game as easily as I would connect to CSGO. The experience is amazing and I'm a huge fan of the game simply because it's online experience is so good.
The lack of servers and fact that these companies just don't care about giving this region any help makes me realize that I should only stick of offline games and take my money elsewhere, where they actually want to give me a good experience.
PS: if server population is what they're thinking of, the singapore server in TF2 is filled with hundreds of people at this moment. Peaks at a few thousands sometimes. That's a healthy enough base to bring in a few PCs to handle the traffic. If they can do it, why can't other games follow suit?

And many obstacles are needlessly discouraging; Razor-thin tolerances for success and one-hit deaths make for a frustrating pairing. You can control Crash using an analog stick now, but smoother pivots and jumps don't alleviate the otherwise stiff gameplay lurking behind Crash's goofy exterior.

PSN 2SV with a new number
So, I wan pick your brains here as I haven't heard back from Sony yet. So I have 2SV set up on my PSN account and recently got a new number so, obviously, I can't get the verification code texted to me. I also didn't write down any of the 10 security codes. Somebody please tell me there's some salvation that I can look forward to.
PS4 error np-32091-5. I've been getting this a lot and can't find a solution.
I've been getting this the past few days. It usually appears when I start up a game. It will log me out of my profile on my ps4. It's also been screwing up things with trophies, such as lists not loading when I first play a new game, trophies not popping when I fulfill the requirements, trophies popping in my notifications but not showing as earned in the trophy list, and trophies not syncing with the server.
I've tried doing a safe mode reboot and hdd repair, but that hasn't worked.
Any help would be appreciated.

I was about to buy a PS4 Pro right around when Nioh was releasing but for different reasons I never got around to getting a console. I just bought a PS4 Pro and Tekken this week though so I'm looking around for good games to play. I remember I was pretty hyped for Nioh, as I enjoy challenging games. Thing is, the game was pretty hyped on these subreddits back then but now when I see posts like "recommend me a game" and "what are some must-haves", I never see Nioh mentioned. Did it flop? How's the game? Got the night alone so I was looking forward to playing it but I don't want to buy it if it was a bad game.

How big is the fps difference between normal and pro?
I'm about to get a ps4, and I hate the fps output of my ps3. Will it be a significant change between the normal ps4 and the pro version, or is it mostly just better graphics? I've read a lot online, but all these articles don't convince me at all.
Crash Warped stuck on "Installing" on the N Sane Trilogy
Previously posted in /r/crashbandicoot but had no responses so figured I should post in a more popular sub in case somebody knows what the problem is.
This is probably going to be a dumb question, but I have the first two games fully playable (and have been since the moment I put in the disc), while Warped still says "Installing" so cannot play it. The patch has downloaded and installed and have tried closing the game and shutting off the ps4 but I still can't play it.
I know it's probably something obvious I am missing but any help would be appreciated
Tv and video tab not opening?
Ever since the last update, the TV and video tab on my ps4 has been acting weird. Before the update, if I hovered over it all the options below would appear immediately (youtube, netflix, etc.) But ever since the last update they take quite a while to appear and sometimes they dont at all. I have to restart my ps4 if the wont appear.
Is this just my PS4 or is this an issue with the new update? Its just become a hassle because my PS4 is my primary device for Netflix, and having to restart just to open it is annoying. This happening to anyone else? Thanks

The opening sequence is a neat little intro to the game but is very unnecessary to sit through each time the game is opened.
I got my PS4 in a bundle with The Last of Us and I had to reinstall the hard drive and now it says I have to buy it again
So I had the game downloaded but I had to delete all the locally saved storage after I lost power and had to reinstall the hard drive using a USB drive. Under purchased games all my games were there except the last of us and it won't let me download it without repurchasing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

After latest update I no longer see the option to open the game in disc drive.
In the past you put the disc in and then it pops up at the front of the home screen. This didnt happen when I put in a game I hadn't played fot ages and had to open it via the library. Is this normal? What happens with a new game?

I really love Sony! Since i got my first PSX in 1998 I was fascinated of the games and story of the playstation franchise. The current slogan is "4 the players", that was also my motivation to buy the ps4. Especially after they announced PS Now I was so happy, that I could play all the games of my childhood-past.
But what the hell are the doing with PS Now?!
I read things, that they discontinued to support the Vita, PS3 and some Bravias. And yet they didn't even managed it to let us european guys use this service.
The German Beta ended like a year ago... And I'm slowly accepting, that the PS Now was more a misleading advertisement than a promise.

PS4 USB won't charge controllers.
I came in from work yesterday after plugging in my controller to USB in the morning and found it uncharged. I usually play in morning, plug up controller and play in the evening. I tried the other port, and my other controller to no avail. The controllers charge on the charging dock or via USB on other devices. My PS4 is a launch version just over 3 years old.
Anybody else experienced this?

PES2018 ps4 stutter.
Hi there. I have ps4 slim and I play a lot offline with friends. But the game stutters a lot.. It's annoying.. It stutters more when we are near goalkeeper area or inside. In midfield it's not so common to stutter. Does anyone have this problem too? Guess since its ps4 there's not much to do to reduce this.. Although I would like to here from you if you have this too.. New PS4 Owner Looking for Sale Suggestions
As the title says, I'm a new PS4 player and I just saw the mid-summer sale going on, and I'm looking for suggestions of games that are your "can't miss" suggestions. I will say that I had an Xbox One for year before I got the PS4, so big third party games like Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Fallout 4, etc are things that I have already played. I also didn't own a PS3, so I missed a lot of the exclusive darlings from that era (although I have access to one now and have played The Last of Us, so I didn't miss that).
I know for a fact I'm getting God of War III: Remastered (roommate moved out before I could beat it on PS3), and I'm looking at Journey, Flower, and Unfinished Swan too. Any other suggestions of smaller games that are in that sale that I should definitely look at? I don't have many friends on my system yet, so multiplayer focused games might be difficult for me to get into right now.

I just finished Uncharted 4
Let me be clear uncharted 4 is a beautiful game and should be a must have for ps4 owners. But my gripe with the game is now that it's over it didn't leave a lasting impact like the original trilogy. I felt that uncharted 2 & 3 left more of a lasting impact. Am I the only one who thinks this ?
My ps4 pro is downloading real slow .
So I was downloading the demo of titanfall 2 and the ps4 said that I can use titanfall 2 now then my dad bought crash bandicoot and its downloading REAL slow.Maybe its because its still downloading the other half of titanfall 2 BUTT I couldnt find any proof that titanfall2 is still downloading. I really think that its titanfall 2 downloading its other half and if so how can I cancel that download? I really want to play crash. PLS HELP
NAT Type problems with Wired Connection. Both Type 2 and 3.
So heres my issue. Wired ethernet from my modem into the PS4.
PS4 Test Internet Connection states NAT Type 2.
However when in Modern Warfare Remastered, NAT Type according to their network status is NAT Type 3.
Could not join any session with my friend in MWR because of this NAT issue and would like help to get this resolved.
However, when I connect my PS4 via WiFi through my router and not modem my NAT type is both Type 2 and can join my friend in MWR fine. I suspect I need to change something but not sure what.

How can I use my flash drive with my PS4?
So today I bought a 64gb USB 3.0 flash drive with the hopes of possibly using it for a game in case I run out of space on the PS4, and I don't have enough space on it. However, after plugging it into the PS4, I tried to find out how I may be able to use it to do so, or if I may be able to transfer save data from any one (physical) game over to the flash drive, but I didn't find anything. So a while back when I bought Diablo 3 on amazon, they sent me a PAL copy on accident (I live in the US). I was thinking of buying the new DLC for Diablo, but I'm worried since I'm buying it off the US psn store it won't work on my PAL copy? Anyone have any experience with region stuff like this?
Rebuilt my database, now my digital games all have locks on them.
Was having problems with the system not shutting down correctly so I rebuilt the database. Now it feels like some games are missing (this could 100% be my imagination) but all the digital games have a lock on them now. They still seem to run fine, and they open without a problem. Is this just some weird visual bug?

Getting Error WS-37397-9
Its been hours and ive been searching all over the place and trying to find solutions for this. Ive reset my router and modem multiple times. I put my ps4s in safe mode and rebuilt database and updated our ps4s. I scanned our pcs for viruses and it found two malicious files and those were deleted. Ive been seeing how some ppl seem to never fix this problem no matter what they've tried and im starting to get scared I wont be able to play overwatch or destiny 2 when it launches with my freinds, ive put so many hours into my games. Why would my ip get banned for no reason? What should I do?
28 GB on "other" in storage on week-old console...
Basically the title, I got my ps4 slim just last weekend and after installing nathan drakes collection, bloodborne, and let it die, i noticed my "other" portion of the storage is 28 GB.... can anyone explain what that is and how to clear it if possible?
Wireless controllers disconnecting
Both of my wireless controllers have started disconnecting unless I'm within a couple of feet of my PS4. Any further, and they stutter/disconnect. Any ideas?

Help with Crash bandicoot
Is it just me or does the gravity feel like it's super heavy in the game? I don't know how else to explain it, but jumping feels very heavy and slow compared to everything else. I find it very difficult to adjust to. Might just be me though

Horrible customer service
Has anybody else had the worst experiences with Sony support. Their chat support as horrible and if you have vue their only solution is to wait 24 hours. I have called for a variety of things and always the same solution.
I used to work at Comcast and Bank of America. So I know bad customer service when I get it.
Need some advice about my PS4 Pro and what to do next.
I bought a PS4 Pro the day after it came out, and it worked fine for little under a month until I moved into a new house. After I moved I noticed the Pro moving slowly and having texture problems, as it was inside of the return window I took it back and got another one, this one had the same problems, so after a while I finally decided to send it in to Sony, they didn't necessarily say that there was anything wrong with it, but they sent me another one anyways and this one is having the exact same problems. I have tried everything from changing the hdmi cable, and putting the Pro on a different TV, and rebuilding the database. I have checked the voltage from the wall and it is fine. The only other thing I could think of would be the internet that it is on, as that is pretty much the only difference between when it was working to now. Can anyone give me some advice about what I could do to try and see if that is the problem. Any Wi-Fi settings I should be looking into, could an ethernet connection correct the problems? This has been 3 Ps4 Pros and it has become incredibly frustrating that I cannot play my games with these problems continuing to happen.

PS4 Audio issues
Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my PS4 where I lose sound as soon as I get past the profile selection screen. I'll boot up my PS4, have sound up until I select my profile, then immediately lose all audio. No sound in any games at all, and no sound from my theme on the home screen. I've tried switching HDMI ports and cables, turning everything off and back on, turning the PlayStation off while leaving the TV on (in case it was a handshake issue) and nothing has worked so far. Anybody got a possible fix for this?

But, in all seriousness, the N-Sane trilogy has brought out a special kind of nostaliga for me.
While my cousins were running around Hyrule and Mushroom kingdom on the N64 my parents got me a Playstation. Therefore, Crash and Spyro were my Mario and Link.
I would absolutely love Spyro getting a similar treatment. Especially because mechanically I believe that Spyro (especially the first Spyro compared to the first Crash) holds up better than the Crash Trilogy.

Metro 2033 Redux Crashing
I bought the digital version of Metro 2033 Redux a few weeks ago when it was on sale. I'm finally getting around to playing it and the game ALWAYS crashes at the same part of the intro, after your first jump or walking up the staircase right after. The screen proceeds to go multicolored like an older TV and then crashes the PS4 turning it off completely. I have deleted and downloaded the game multiple times no to avail. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Upgrading HDD: Any problem if the HDD is thinner than the one that came with the PS4?
So yeah, the hard drive in this one is actually thinner than the one inside a PS4 (slim). You can make it be in position by using the 4 screws on the sides, but I wonder if there's any problem with this?
Hitman episodes will not load for me
Hitman episode 2 and 5 will not load. Waited over an hour to load episode 2 and nothing. Episode 5 crashes my hitman game. Any suggestion besides redownloading the game? (Takes me 4hrs to download 1gb on my internet)

Hi, first of all, I used to be a PS3 hardcore gamer back in 2011, but then I stopped and changed to PC, and now, Im trying to go back to console, with PS4, and stumbled with a lot of problem! ):
1 - Why does the controller feel sluggish now? I mean, DS3 had a very smooth control, like I can 360mlgquickscope people in CODMW but now, I cant aim for sh*t and missing all my shots in CODIW or BF1, like underaiming and overaiming. Is it because my muscle is not used to it anymore? Watched some BF1 gameplay online and people are enjoying it with smooth movement but me, my crosshair is going everywhere (Yes, Ive played around w the control settings) for both games.
2 - I get some input lag when I played "Shadow of mordor: Middle Earth", whats up with that? Is it because my TV?
3 - Ive had the PS4 for 2 days now and still trying to get used to it but it is so hard, I honestly have the feeling of regret for buying the PS4 but I dont want to just give up.
Tl;dr - I used to be a PS3 gamer then moved to PC for 5 years and now going back to PS4. Im sad that I cant enjoy playing my PS4 cause my hand feels stiff using the controller and there is some slight input lag on some game.
Need some help with internet connection
I have 2 ps4s one is right next to the router the other is upstairs. Neither can connect to psn (wifi- no space for hardwire) I tried resetting the network with no luck. My Xbox and other devices are on the same wifi with no problems. Anybody have an idea of how to fix? Google says reset network and that's not working for me it keeps saying wifi signal too weak

Hit Detection and Sluggish Jumping?
Okay so I have reach Native Fortress on Crash 1 and I've been stuck since last night and with this level and Hog Wild there is some detection issues and sluggish jumping. For example on Native Fortress I would jump on one of the platforms and be on the edge just a bit but then it would still make me fall. With spikes I wont be near it completely and it still kills me. On Hog Wild one of the shield guys are not even completely on the other side and they still send me flying to death.
So to test this out I went to the originals on PS1 luckily my PS3 is backwards compatible and I was able to pass through the missions with ease compared to this remastered. I mean I love this game a lot and the remaster is great but damn I hope they fix this its one thing to be hard which I admire in a Crash game but this is beyond frustrating and is making me quit for now. Hopefully something is done.

From wingsuiting from place to place, playing the ground is lava, using your grappling hooks to create some crazy and hilarious situations, blowing up bridges with people on them, blowing shit up left and right, being a badass and jumping on top of your car out planner while it's still going, and upgrading your character to do even cooler things, and then my favorite.. blowing up gas stations in fun and unique fashions as you deal with the shockwaves, this is definitely a game to pick up.
Now I'm sure it'd be easy to miss the forest for the trees, by saying "oh look at that framerate drop right there, just look at it.." however not once has that happened to me because I actually focus on the gameplay for the single player and spending hours having fun by using my imagination to do awesome things like hooking my car the side of a collapsed bridge and then driving off, like a car bungie chord.
I recommend this game to players that like to have a fun time, but I don't recommend this game to those that lack imagination and just want to complain to seem cool.
Also, this game is great with either an indica for wentstill around beautiful countryside and climbing mountains, or a Sativa when you want to just want to fuck shit up.
I do not recommend people that just want to complain about the littlest thing on such a beautiful and fun game.
It's so easy and popular for people to complain nowadays. Is that really how you want to live your life? For God sakes if you want perfection, go play Zero Dawn, it's amazing.. but Just Cause is definitely fun as well

I have a PS4 Anniversary controller that has recently stopped working. It still has battery life, but will no longer charge. As far as I know, I've never used one of those samsung quick chargers since I dont own any samsung products. I've also tried the reset button, but that doesn't seem to be working either and tried using multiple charging cables. Can anyone give me an idea as to what to do? Does it need a new battery?

Seriously, hard games are probably some of the most rewarding. I haven't played a game that feels SO good to complete a stage like I have with Crash Bandicoot.
There had been some rumors that Vicarious Visions had "made it easier." Let me tell you that isn't true! While they did make some tweaks, like... if you die 5 times in a row, Aku Aku comes to help you, or they move a checkpoint a little closer. And those are great changes.
But the difficulty, man, it's great, especially if you're trying to 100% or platinum this game.
Kids will still enjoy the game even with it's hard moments. But as an adult, I'm loving getting my ass kicked. More games these days need to take note and stop holding my hand.

At some point, I stopped getting the "Playing an HDR video" pop up notification on games, but my Pro still shows my TV as HDR compatible. My TV has updated itself a few times in the last months, and I've done whatever PS4 system updates.
Does it not notify you anymore, or am I having an issue? Thanks for any answers...

Very laggy PS4. Games load very slow and sometimes not at all. Any texting done lags and freezes.
Suddenly, a few minutes ago, my PS4 has been performing exactly as stated in the title. After waking it up from sleep mode it has suddenly been performing terribly. I've reset and shut it down and that still didn't work, in fact it even had terrible lag in both cases, and at this very moment, took several minutes to shutdown.
Prior to this latest software update, I've bever had any perfornance issues (the system has been crashing lately on top of the above too). Is anyone else having these problems or is there a known cause? Oddly enough this also started not kong after my PS+ expired, if there's a connection between the two.

Database Rebuild question?
This morning my PS4 was entering a storage checker loop and I googled my options and found Database Rebuild. I selected that from the safe mode screen and then my PS4 seems to have shut off? There's nothing on the screen. I read that it's supposed to go to a blank screen, but does that mean the system shuts off? Have I done something wrong?
The Warriors - Cant Pass Tutorial Mode, Some bug
So i have bought The Warriors, now im on first mission - the fight tutorial. I have to do exact moves but at some point it stops coutnign them. I reset the game, get to some point - again some moves never pass as done correctly (other ones each time).
Framerate on the game is crayz bad too.

Just how good is Nier: Automata?
Hi guys, I would like to ask you a few things about Nier: Automata for those who play/played it. I recently bought Deus Ex Mankind Divided very cheap but didn't like it very much. I knew this wasn't my type of game but since I could get it for like $10 on PS4 I decided to give it a shot but after spending about 4 hours with it I don't see myself getting through it to the end. It's just too slow, I don't really enjoy stealth games that much and this game promotes stealth over action big time.
I came here because Nier:Automata was on my to-play list for a long time but since I have a ton of real-life expneses and not too much cash on my hands I need to pick my games very carefuly. I'm really fighting with myself here because This game is still very expensive for me, its price hasn't dropped much since release date compared to other PS4 titles. I mean, I could get it but I really need to be 100% sure that this will be IT, so I would like you guys to convince my conscience that I won't regret buying it. Here most important things I would like to know:

How good is the combat? I like fast paced sword battles that require skill to master. With good parry and dodge mechanics. I like being able to completely avoid being hit and fast counterattacks. FURI would be the perfect example of a game that is 100% my style when it comes to combat. I also liked Metal Gear Rising, I know NieR is from the same developer, how similar is battle system compared to MGR ?

I know that if you buy physical game you have to insert it everytime you want to play the game although it was already installed on the hard disk. But could you back it up to the external hard disk? Like the base game and the update(s)? I'll decide to go full physical or digital depend on this, because if, just if, the PSN network went down, we couldn't update it anymore, like if I want to play it again in the future.

The HDR feature could be enjoyed from the HDR10 display, but I saw it somewhere that its brightness must be around 1000 nits, and this LG 32UD99 Tech Spec/Official LG 32UD99 claims it features HDR10 although it just has 550 nits maxed. I'm lost here to know if it affects the HDR feature or what? Or as analogous it would be just like the native 4k and semi-4k (upscaling)?

Weird Sound While Playing Games
Not sure if anyone has had this issue. I tried googling it but came up empty. I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS4 yesterday and I heard what sounded like fireworks (thought it was fireworks outside as my tv is right in front of the window and it is almost the 4th of July). Then I heard the noise again while playing Watch Dogs 2 later that night. Realized it was coming through the tv since whenever I paused it, the noise stopped and if I lowered the volume the noise went down with it. The noise also went away when I went to the home screen. Any help would be awesome.

Right now I am looking for a higher quality controller than the regular PS4 Dual Shock Controller, one that will last for a while, and that overall will not have any issues for me. I was loading up a game on PS4 while the power from my house got switched off. Now when I try to turn on the console it says I need to install the playstation software with a usb. Anyone else think it's a hassle to reinsert a new disk if I want to play another game? The only time I want to get up is for Dorito's and Mountain Dew, those wasted calories inserting a new disk could be used for gaming :D
Questions about Crash N Sane Trilogy pre order bonuses

So I didn't realize that the Crash N Sane Trilogy came with pre order bonuses, so I didn't pre order, which means it is now too late to get the pre order bonuses.
I wanted to know if the pre order bonuses come as codes or if it's automatically bound to your account?
What do you think the announcements are that Sony held back on at e3?
I was left a bit annoyed they didn't say more but thought it was all cool.

Hi all, that's what happened yesterday:
After a persona 5 3 hours session, I turned off my ps4 pro, while it was turning off, I heard that weird beep (I have a segate 2tb hdd, it's a common issue) suddenly interrupted by the console shutting down.
Worried about that, I turned on my console, and it was fine; then I tried to turned off but the intermittent white led kept on flashing endless preventing console from switching off. After 2/3 minutes of that, I turned it on again via pad and the console rebooted smoothly and was able to turn off normally soon after.
I tried again twice and everything was fine.
Has anyone experienced my same issue ?

Question about reinitializing ps4 and storage devices.
I have an external device which i have most of my games installed on, so if i initialize the ps4, would i still be able to use the storage device and play the games installed on it? Or do i have to reformat it and stuff like that?
Rip a DVD onto a PS4?
I have a DVD that I'd like on my computer.. but my computer does not have a DVD drive, is there any way to rip my DVD onto my ps4 and then potentially file transfer it? If not, is there any way to stream this DVD to my laptop? I tried Remote Play and it's scene blocked.. Any help is appreciated!

I keep getting this error when I try to log in. It happened to me last week and I cut my router and ps4 off and it worked fine. Ive tried everything this time. Is PlayStation undergoing maintenance? I cant be banned because I haven't done anything and it doesn't tell me I am. It just refuses to let me sign in. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
