Live From Playstation: Where did all the weird/non-gaming stuff go?

I remember watching Live From Playstation stuff probably a year or so ago, and a ton of feeds were just people setting up a camera and having a party. usually it sucked, but sometimes it was hilarious. I don't see anything like that anymore, just gameplay streaming. did Sony crack down on any non-game stuff?

Problem with linking YouTube accounts and uploading videos to YouTube.

Essentially, every time I go to upload a video, it asks where I want to upload it to. I click YouTube and it asks me to link my YouTube with my PlayStation, despite already doing so. Not a huge problem that, except once you sign in to link it, and it says "Your YT has been linked", it takes you back to "Where would you like to upload this to?" screen. Then when you click on YouTube again... it's asking to link again! This cycle continues. Ive tried a couple things but none have worked and I don't know what to do. I was hoping anyone here could help.

Just got DDOS'd the first few times my internet worked after restarting my router, but now it's not. It's saying there's a DNS error.

Audio crackling via 3.5mm jack on the dualshock controller

I'm not sure why, but this appears to happen pretty sporadically. It doesn't last longer than 3 seconds or so, so it isn't a huge deal, but it gets a tad bit annoying when it happens during cutscenes. Anyone else experience this? I've tried both Bitstream and Linear audio settings with no luck sadly.

My wife and I love multiplayer games, but haven't found much this generation. We like brief games we can beat in 2 nights and hate menus, lots of customization, and too many powers, combos, action and what not depending on the genre.

To be honest my first PS console was a PSP and the next one was a PS4 that I bought last December of 2016. After seeing E3 I am hyped to play GOW4. I haven't played any GOW games before but first I gotta know if it's alright to play GOW1 then GOW2 after then jump to GOW3 without playing any of it's spin-off titles. Anyone else return PSVR?

After two days with it playing VR worlds, all the demos, playroom vr and batman VR.... It's cool no doubt but too isolating from the world and very limiting.

It feels like a lot of the industry WANTS VR to he the next thing but I just don't see it. Anyone else tried out VR and ended up feeling old because "I just want to play video games"? I'd be pretty sad if gaming became VR only.

Media Create (Japan Sales) - 6/5/2017 - 6/11/2017: Tekken 7 Sells 12,460, Ys VIII Shifts 5,324, PS4 Moves 19,141 Units

Happy Saturday everyone, and welcome to an all-new week of Media Create fun. It's E3 week, and we've seen so many incredible reveals across the board. So, for those who have been paying attention, what was your "Game of Show" this year?

Anyway, on the business end of things, expect a lot of familiar faces this period, as no new releases cracked into the top-20. Still, there's a lot to discuss, as we had some real movement in the big board.

Nintendo

Titles on the Big N's hardware controlled twelve spaces in the top-20 this period, with seven 3DS games, four Switch SKUs, and a Wii U game making the cut.

Leading the pack comes the thrill of racing with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch). The quirky racer managed to dodge blue those red shells and knock out the leader, returning to first place with 16,596 units sold (505,270 LTD). This week, we saw the title crack the half-million mark, which is nothing short of fantastic for the title. As a reminder: Under a million Switch consoles are out in the wild, and Mario Kart is currently enjoying a 52.97% attach rate. More than one copy has been sold for every two Switches in the wild. With this in mind, the fact that it crushed the half-million mark in under two months is nothing short of phenomenal. I can see this cracking a million easily, especially if Nintendo are planning holiday bundles with the title.

Not far behind, it looks like 3DS fans haven't quite felt the sting of the double-cross yet (Expect any movement on that to happen about a week). Monster Hunter Double Cross (3DS) rose up to third this period, with 10,209 copies reaching customers (1,512,815 LTD). The title continues to show fabulous legs. However, I'm starting to wonder what the recent announcement of Monster Hunter World will have on this SKU and the upcoming Switch version. That really does introduce some unpredictability, which will be interesting to observe.

Just outside the top-3, the Hylian Champion continues his quest to (eventually) rescue Hyrule from Calamity Ganon. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) paraglided to 4th this period, with 8,839 customers snagging a copy (494,526 LTD). The Wii U SKU also charted this period, taking the #19 space with 2,280 sales (130,782 LTD). Combined, the two verisons have sold through 625,308 copies.

And, really, I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't been said. Zelda has completely obliterated expectations across the board, and continues to be that "go-to" for those who want a bigger single-player experience on Switch. On its own, the Switch SKU for Breath of the Wild has beaten out Majora's Mask 3D (~452,000), A Link Between Worlds (~446,000), and Skyward Sword (~337,000). This specific version is on track to beat Twilight Princess (Wii, ~554,109). In short, Nintendo did well here.

On the note of grand adventures, folks continue to line up to wield the mighty mana sword. Seiken Densetsu Collection (Switch), which includes all three games in the original trilogy, shifted 5,329 copies this period (34,893 LTD) to take fifth place. The 82% drop is very much expected for an RPG release. Sadly, though, this also hints at the fact that we probably won't see this charming collection cross 50K as we'll likely see a standard RPG sales curve.

Meanwhile, portable fans continue to bring the fight to Namek. Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission X (3DS) clawed its way up to the #7 spot this time around, with 4,593 units sold (163,451 LTD). As of now, the title still stands a good chance of crossing the 175K mark, though outlook toward 200K is a bit murky.

Of course, there's no place for murk and gloom in Alola. The sun (or moon!) continues to shine on Pokémon Sun & Moon (3DS), which caught 11th place with 2,935 copies reaching customers (3,272,444 LTD). Combining this with the sales of the double-pack, which sits at 157,492 last charting, we're looking at 3,429,936 sales, and 3,587,428 individual copies out in the wild. Honestly, I'm not sure what else I can say here - the title's steadily marching toward 3.5 million sold, and there's a great amount of buzz toward its sequels. The Pokemon Company nailed this one, and we should see Sun & Moon continue to hold some position on the big board well into the summer.

Not far behind, Tom Nook continues to be full of surprises. Animal Crossing: New Leaf's "Welcome amiibo" SKU (3DS) shifted another 2,925 units (187,599 LTD) to rise up to 12th. The title actually saw a 3% increase week-over-week, and continues to remain incredibly strong overall. We're almost at the seven-month mark since the version hit stores, and it's been a fairly regular sight since. The fact that this title continues to hold such sway with customers is simply astounding.

Speaking of astounding, it's hard to deny that the fevered search for the Better Mario Trap (TM) is pretty impressive. Super Mario Maker 3DS (3DS) built its way to the #13 spot, with 2,725 units sold (1,049,802 LTD). The title is just shy of 1.05 million. As of now, I'm not sure what more I can say aside from "kudos, Nintendo."

Microgame madness returned to the top-20 this week, as folks re-discovered the joy of ball rolling, cow milking, and pistol-dueling. 1-2-Switch (Switch) sandwich-raced its way to 14th place, with 2,716 copies reaching customers (220,050 LTD). We should see this break a quarter million by July, if all goes well. Currently, the title enjoys a 23.07% attach rate, so just under one copy is in the wild for every four Switch consoles. I expect this ratio to decline, as the title seems to lack the long-lasting appeal of Breath of the Wild or Mario Kart 8.

The wacky world of sports continues to enchant and amaze. Mario Sports Superstars (3DS) rose up to 18th this week, with 2,323 copies reaching customers (100,782 LTD). This week, we saw the title finally cross the 100K mark. I don't see it going much further, but it's reached a comfortable position after a fairly slow start.

On the note of sports, Pro Baseball Famista Climax (3DS) seems to be ready to finally retire. The title sold just 2,188 copies this time around (84,481 LTD) to take 20th.

On the Hardware Front

The Switch held onto the top spot this period, with 28,293 units sold (940,069 LTD). We should see this easily cross the million-sales mark, especially if predictions of a sales bump for ARMS hold up.

The 3DS family took third place, with 11,519 handhelds reaching customers. The Wii U, meanwhile, continues its slow exit, selling just 133 consoles.

Sony

This week, eight titles in the PlayStation family captured spots on the big board. Of those, five PS4 games and three Vita titles made the cut.

At the front of the crowd, the King of Iron Fist tournament continues to rage on. Tekken 7 (PS4) dropped down to second this period, with 12,460 units sold (71,196 LTD). The 79% drop is well within the expected norm, and denotes a fairly normal sales trajectory. That said, sales are still incredibly low for the franchise. The title is still trending below both Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (2012) and Tekken 6 (2009), and we're still well within the title's first print run. Something tells me that more than a couple of workers at Bandai Namco are a bit antsy about the game's Japan situation.

Adol Christin continues to hang tough a bit further down the path. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (PS4) held onto 6th place this period, with 5,324 copies reaching customers (43,267 LTD). We should see the title easily cross 50K by the time it exits the charts, which is fantastic for a year-old port. The 48% decline is also pretty encouraging, as it's trending above the usual RPG sales curve. I'm genuinely curious to see where this title finally rests by the time it exits the charts.

At 8th, Vita fans have found a place with Alice. Shiro to Kuro no Alice (Vita) debuted at 8th place, with 4,385 units sold. Sales are pretty typical of visual novels for the platform, which is always encouraging.

Speaking of encouraging, Yoko Taro's latest epic continues to impress. NieR: Automata (PS4) sold thorugh 3,499 copies this week (345,987 LTD) to take 9th place. We should see this cross 350K by the end of the month. That said, Square-Enix: pay Yoko Taro.

it looks like larceny and crime continues to be a popular proposition in the gaming charts. Grand Theft Auto V's budget-priced re-release (PS4) sped up to 10th this time around, moving 3,166 units (345,987 LTD) in the process. We should see this SKU crack 350K by the end of the month as well, which is pretty damned impressive. Rockstar, you've done well.

On the note of doing well, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege continues to impress. The title sold through 2,551 copies this period (202,695 LTD) to snipe out 15th place. Rainbow Six: Siege seems to have seen a resurgence in popularity, which is a bit bittersweet. Though it's doing well, it does so at the expense of Ghost Recon: Wildlands. I can't help but wonder if we'll see a similar bump for the newest Tom Clancy entry in a few months' time.

Vita fans got a little blast from the past this week, as they welcomed Minecraft back into the boards. Notch's blocky builder moved 2,466 units (1,161,240 LTD) to take 16th place. And, honestly, can we take a moment to appreciate just how much pull Minecraft continues to have on the Vita? It's mind-blowing, to say lightly.

At the back of the pack, is one last Vita visual novel. Sukitomo. Tsukiuta. 12 Memories managed to move 2,352 units (15,115 LTD) to take the #17 space.

On the Hardware Front

This week, the PS4 claimed second place, with 19,141 units sold. Of those, 4,546 are PS4 Pro consoles. The took a distant fourth this time around, with 4,063 handhelds reaching customers.

the PS3, meanwhile, continues to hang on with each passing week. Sony's decade-old system shifted 392 units to take fifth place.

Microsoft

Microsoft actually saw a jump up this period, rising to 255 units for the week. We might somehow, someway, see this crack 80K (lifetime) by the end of summer, if this pace keeps up!

Still doesn't keep it safe from funny story time.

In the world of computing, 255 is the maximum value for an 8-bit unsigned integer. Adding any nonzero value to a maxed out byte will cause it to wrap around, back to zero - this is called an "overflow", and can cause many peculiarities. A famous example of byte-overlow in the gaming world can be observed in Pac-Man's Kill Screen, in which the level counter overflows its 8-bit integer counter, and the game tries to draw 256 fruit to the screen. The result is the garbled mess on the right side of the maze.

In the world of Japanese console sales, I'm guessing those unfortunate XBox division employees feel like they're wandering an endless, messed-up maze of sadness with sales this low.

Help with my PS4 audio (gaming with a monitor).

The problem is, the monitor originally didn't have speakers. So I purchased some basic logitech speakers and connected that to the USB port on the ps4 to get it to output audio.

However, when I'm in a party chat / have my mic connected to the controller, I hear the party chat through my speakers in addition to the in game audio.

I just want the speakers to output the game audio and the party chat audio to output to my mic.

Problem downloading updates

Does anyone know why I can't update GTA V? I have 30GB of memory free but when I try to update the game it says, "To download content, you must delete unnecessary content from your system storage."

Controller Issues

So up until recently my controller has been clicking along just fine. Fast forward to the past few days and it's suddenly laggy and the button responses are all mushy. For example I'll push the analog stick to the left and it'll keep turning the camera until I do another input.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so what was your solution to fix it. I would prefer not buying a new controller if I can help it. Thanks for the feedback!

PS4 too hot. Tried everything...

I've cleaned the PS4 out multiple times, used the proper tools, applied new paste, etc. Still getting this error message after 10 mins of playing or 10 mins of uploading saves to the cloud, anything. It's getting pretty disheartening. Is it possible that my PS4 is just dead? I've gotten a billion hours out of it, but I didn't think it would die due to natural use. Any advice?

Are there any Battle royale style games on PS4 similar to Playerunknown's battlegrounds?

I've been craving something like it for a long time. And don't suggest the division DLC. I'm not buying a shitty game like that just for a game mode.

Turtle beach PX5 sound coming out of both PX5 headset and my monitor

Has anyone had any trouble like this? I can't seem to prevent the sound from coming out of my monitor other than muting it through the monitor itself. I selected audio output as digital optical and the PX5 works just fine.

I'm able to play online without PS+?

I don't have PS+, and NEVER bought it before. I've only had a PS4 for the last 7 months, but owned a PS3 for a while prior. Just out of curiosity today, I fired up Uncharted 4 survival mode, and I was put into a lobby with real players. I then played a couple waves, and went wtf. So I tried TLOU multiplayer, and that worked too. I haven't tried anything else yet. I checked my account, and my purchase history. I am definitely not a PS+ member, and I haven't been hacked or anything. Purchase history and device registers checks out. I don't share accounts with other people, I'm the only person that uses my Playstation account, so there is no other PS+ membership hanging somewhere else.

Is there some free PS+ period going on? Or do Naughty Dog game offer some multiplayer trial? Because I was able to play both UC4 and TLOU online for a good while as if I was a PS+ member.

Playstation Vue TV guide

Hello everyone. I just recently bought a PS4 for the show. I was told that PlayStation Vue could replace my current TV provider, so I decided to sign up. I'm trying to navigate the menu, however, I am finding it very user unfriendly. Is there a way to navigate tv shows via a tv guide? My PS4 is having issues running discs

So the problem just started today. I have been playing hard copies games since I bought my PS4 new. Never had a problem besides the disc being ejected randomly. I fixed that by removing the rubber piece right underneath the eject button. Now today, I received the game "Prey" from GameFly. Disc is 10/10 and the game made a copy onto my PS4 with no issues. 30 mins into the game, my PS4 said disc was unreadable. I found it really weird since it copied the game with no issues. I restarted my PS4 and tried the game again. And now it won't load into where I left off and said again that the disc can't be read. So I put the game into another PS4 that I have in my living room. I started off where I left off that is to the cloud saving. Ran the game with not problem what's so ever. So I know it's my personal PS4 that stays in my room. Any ideas how I can fix the problem?

What are some good games that aren't too expensive and have good online multiplayer?

Question regarding digital licenses

Apologies if this is not in the right thread, or asked before..

Most of my digital games are not accessible to me, it tells me my licenses expired on them. I checked my ps+ and that is still active through September. Some games aren't even ps+ related like Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn. I've restored my licenses in the PS settings and reset my connection, power cycled the ps4 and logged out and back in. Any suggestions?

L3/Sprint button problem

I got two controllers. My first controller won't let me move my character forward in any shooting game I play. I tried the 30 click crap, blowing air (my breath and compressed(can dust cleaner)), and putting a piece of paper or something tiny inside the controller. Nothing is helping. I've been having this problem for two months now. People say the little orange pentagon shaped piece on the L3 is worn down and needs a piece of paper or something to help it, but it looks no different from my R3 button. So if that really was the case, my R3 button would be messing up also. The little 30 click is just retarded. Dust don't even get inside the controller, so the air was pointless. I'm just lost right now. I got a new controller and two and a half weeks later, it starts doing the same thing as the first controller. Why is sony not helping with this problem? Can I get an explation for why PS4 controllers are having such a huge issue with L3 buttons? A legitimate answer?

External Hard Drive No Longer Recognized?

Ok so I have an external hooked up to my ps4 that I left plugged in and it's been working fine for a good 2 weeks or so now. The hard drive got moved and now the ps4 says theres no usb storage devices connected. I've tried power cycling and unplugging it and plugging back in in multiple ways. I can't get it to recognize its even there anymore. The drive is definitely getting power though cause the light comes on. Anybody have any suggestions cause I'm getting a tad irritated with it.

When moving the stick all the way forward it doesn't recognize sprinting for my character in any game for half of the time. Instead my controller reads it like i'm only slightly tilting the stick (slow walking in most games) which is not the case.

The last of us remastered: gives me error (CE-34878-0) any time I try and start it up; I've already deleted and reinstalled it as well as cleaned the disc. It's near mint and has no scratches on it.

I did notice, the games install size is listed at 375 kb which is wayyy to small for even an update so I'm not sure what's going on with it. So, I know the rules state that I shouldnt post bugs or technical issues. But im at the end of my rope here. Ive tried contacting Sony and Hi-Rez. Both of which tell me to contact the other. I have no clue what to do. I have done everything theyve asked me to do. Maybe someone here can help since I have no clue whats going on.

I play Smite on PS4. Have been for sometime now. I love the game. Recently The Trials of King Hercules has been made available for consoles. I played a few games, had a lot of fun. Ended up purchasing the dungeon pack because why not support a game I enjoy. Since then, every single game crashes. Every match I try to join or adventure. It crashes in the character card loading screen everytime.

Ive deleted and reinstalled the game. Ive initialized the console from safe mode and redownloaded the OS. A Sony rep told me they deleted it from my download history, maybe in an attempt to clear the cache. The weird part is: It crashes on different consoles on my personal account. However, when I log into my brothers Playstation account, on the same console my account is logged into, it works perfectly fine.

Local co-op racing games? Do they exist for PS4?

I am in search of a local coop racing game. I miss my Project Gotham Racing 2 and it's ability to do 4 player couch coop racing. Anybody else getting weird messages from blank accounts?

So, yesterday I received a message from someone I don't know saying "Hey, what's up?". I asked if I knew them, because I've had it in the past where people have added me from forums etc.

But then the person replied "I got your name from a profile search on this PSN app, and I'm looking for new people to talk to. How old are you?"

So naturally, I called bullshit, and they just sent the same message again.

Checking their profile, they've apparently got no friends, and haven't played any games. So I feel this is some sort of phishing scam or something?

Figured I'd ask here if anyone's had something similar happen. I'm gonna block 'em anyway, and see if there's a way to report potentially malicious stuff.

As someone who generally stays away from f2p games I've been genuinely pleased with CD Projekt Red's Gwent card game. The standalone title builds on the foundations of the mini game, so anyone who enjoyed Gwent in The Witcher 3 should do themselves a favor and play the full game.

So far I've spent $20 on kegs in the game, which I purchased as a thank you to CD Projekt Red for making Gwent it's own game just as fans requested following the release of The Witcher 3.

PS4 Pro and Downscaling

Hello folks,

I own a 1080p screen and I've been considering to get a PS4 Pro for a while now. Since there is quite good deals on PSN Store right now, I decided to pull the trigger today and spend my summer playing all the exclusive stuff I've missed so far.

But I just stumbled upon some threads about downscaling/supersampling option depends on the developer and is not present in many games and even removed from some games like Last of Us Remastered. To be honest that made me worried a bit since I just want to get the Pro and utilize its power for downscaling and other tidbits. I really don't plan to get a 4K TV anytime soon. Unless I can start gaming on a 4K screen with high frame rates/ refresh rates on my PC.

At E3 I saw Mark Cerny talking about the downscaling capability of the Pro but looks like it's just a lazy marketing to counter Microsoft's hardware level downscaling and not the truth. So what's the current situation? Is Sony planning to make downscaling a hardware level feature that doesn't require lazy ass developers' involvement? Or they are still silent about it?

I couldn't find any statement regarding this issue and if Sony is again upto ruin a decent hardware, I'm not putting my money on it and two consoles worth games.

(Update) I'm having problems using my headphones on my ps4

Basically, every few minutes my headphones will make a "chh" sound. I don't know what's causing it. I play at full volume so maybe it's distortion? Or is it the wireless connection of the ds4? I've tried different controllers and headphones but i get the same results. It's totally fine when outputting to the TV though.

So earlier in the week I purchased Star Trek Bridge Crew and when I was trying out the tutorials I was unable to play because the camera kept "losing sight" of my controllers. I spent almost 45 minutes readjusting the camera and making sure that if I reached everything stayed in frame, and all my other VR games have no issues with losing tracking.

After contacting support they seemed to agree the only other option as far as troubleshooting was to try a bigger room which I do not have the ability to do. The rep told me that as I couldn't literally get a new house to try this in he would be issuing a refund for the game. I asked if it would be processed in time for me to take advantage of the current sales ending the 20th, along with if I would have it in time to count towards the spend $100 get $15 as that was literally the only reason I even bought Bridge Crew and a year of Ps plus, because $50 doesn't seem worth it for a year of plus but $35 sounded good, and I was fine paying $50 for bridge crew as physical copies are $60 from what I've seen.

I was assured that it wouldn't be an issue and it takes 3-5 days to refund me store credit (which let's be honest here makes zero sense at all. Over the course of this they generated a $10 and $20 code on the spot "for the inconveniences I've experienced" but they can't just refund a game that support agrees doesn't work due to my room size which isnt listed anywhere in the game page?). Few days go by and I noticed that bridge crew is still listed as ready to install again and I tried to see if it was just an error and it would tell me I need to own the game. It didn't, so I immediately contacted support again asking them if they could verify the refund status as the license hadn't been revoked yet and I wanted to make sure. I was told this time that the previous rep was incorrect and it was in review for a refund, but because I attempted to launch it the chances of it being denied are high.

I explained that I hadn't played the game, and if they checked the log from the last chat they would see that we literally went through troubleshooting steps to verify it was broken. I asked to speak to a manager as I wasn't exactly happy to hear that the refund I was told I was getting not only wasn't actually approved when I was told it had been but that now I'm being told it will most likely be rejected. The manager told me that they could assure me the information sent with the refund request would be sufficient to get it approved. I asked why it couldn't just be processed on the spot if they were so sure it would be approved, and was offered a $10 credit. I told him that was honestly a little insulting considering the context of this, as it felt like he just wanted me to shut up. I was told nothing more could be done or offered and if I wanted to take them up on the $10 to contact support, and proceeded to disconnect chat while I was actively asking to be escalated again.

I connect again and say I'm contacting in regards to how the previous manager disconnected me while I was literally asking to be escalated as "nothing more can be said" this manager repeated the same thing and proceeded to ALSO disconnect me while I requested escalation.

I posted the chat logs on both the Sony Facebook page and the PS4 page. They suggested I contact chat support and gave me a link which my phone wouldn't even allow me to open because of an issue with their security certificate.

I connected a third time and basically the same thing again. So the next day I try calling them while coming home from work as I have a bit of a drive anyway. During the call despite having THREE managers prior to this tell me that nothing more can be offered past a $10 credit, I was offered a copy of Horizon (which I pre-ordered THROUGH MY SYSTEM and even got the deluxe edition for the extra $10) or Uncharted 4 which I got through their employee rewards program while I worked at GameStop. So obviously I didn't accept either offer, but questioned how so many managers could have outright refused to escalate this as they were convinced there was no other possible offer, when clearly there was in fact another offer available had they actually escalated it. l asked how the maximum offer of compensation went from a $10 voucher to a physical copy of a game retailing for $60. They said because they published the game they would just be sending back stock that doesnt cost them anything. That's literally telling me they're only willing to compensate me with something that doesn't cost them anything when it was their employees professionalism that caused this to begin with.

After telling them I already have both of those, and that if they had even bothered checking my account they would know that, they went back to the $10 offer which I told them I would take but will still be contacting support until a real offer is made because offering $10 to convince somebody who's PSN is linked to a PS3, limited edition PS4, limited edition Vita, a PSVR and over 200 purchased products on the account not counting physical games is an insulting joke, especially when the only thing I've asked of them is to refund me for a game I cannot play in time to take advantage of a sale they're running, which will inevitably end with me spending more money out of pocket anyway. I also requested multiple vouchers to at least make up for each manager that disconnected me if $10 is the most they can offer and was told the system prevents them from generating more than one code per account and the amount is locked.

Literally minutes after accepting the $10 voucher code, I got an email saying my refund was denied. So I got right back on the chat and they told me it was because Hotline Miami had been refunded in the past so they couldn't issue another refund as refunds are bending their rules and they had already done it for a similar situation. (I'd like to take a moment and note that Microsoft literally gave me $40 in credit because Friday the 13th didn't work at launch, and I purchased it through Kickstarter not Microsoft.) The thing about Hotline is I didnt ask for a refund, it went on sale literally hours after I bought it and I asked if they could price match me the difference back to the wallet, and they decided to entirely refund the game, if I remember right it wasn't even an option presented they just came back and said they did it. Not quite the same as a game physically being unplayable after doing the troubleshooting steps.

The guy told me he noted all of that and resubmitted the claim for me. The next morning I called support again to complain about how at this point I've had to contact them 5 times now counting the current call and that multiple managers have disconnected me insisting that there is no possible escalation or further resolution available to offer me even though almost each time I call in they manage to be able to offer more. During the course of this call i was offered a $20 voucher. I questioned how that could be when literally the previous day I was told not only is $10 the most that can be offered (at one point a rep even said that's the most they can AFFORD to offer) and on top of that the codes supposedly can only be generated once per account. They told me they apologize for the inconsistency in communication but they can offer me $20. I repeated from my last chat that I think it's only fair Sony pays out for each manager who disconnected me as I've had to contact them now 5 times and still do not even have a garuanteed refund coming to me, but because of it being denied I DO know for sure I won't be able to take advantage of the $15 for $100 which was the only reason I even bought it in the first place.

I was promised that the information submitted with the refund would ensure it will be refunded in 3-5 days. Still no answer on how they can generate $30 on the spot but one more $20 code which would bring it to the amount I'm asking to be refunded to credit. Now I'm sitting here waiting to get another rejection email because I really don't believe they care about any of the information submitted.

And yes, I realize the $30 is more than the $15 I lost out on, at this point it isn't about the money it's about how this isn't remotely close to acceptable levels of service. I shouldn't have to ask twice to have a refund processed after the support team came to the conclusion with me that the game is unplayable.

I'm really not sure why I haven't just charged back the game AND the plus, just sell all of this shit and put it towards buying a PC or One X. It's clear Sony doesn't care about retaining customers, I want to believe not everybody working for Sony is like this but it's been pretty consistent. At no point did I feel like I was getting customer service, I felt like I was being given a run around. I was literally told to physically write in if I wanted to complain because they wouldn't escalate me. Hell one person said they couldn't escalate me because "you've already spoken to most of the supervisors available". I find it hard to believe that in 5 calls I spoke to "most of the supervisors" on staff.

My PS4 Slim sometimes randomly crashes when it's put into sleep mode with Remote Play.

Since my PS4 is in my dorm about 100 miles away, I fairly often use Remote Play when I'm not there. Recently, since the latest PS4 update my PS4 sometimes just randomly crashes and shuts itself off instead of going into sleep mode when I put it into sleep mode in Remote Play. This sucks because I can't access my PS4 anymore for as long till I physically can access my PS4. Every time I'm not at home and put my PS4 to sleep, I just pray that I can reconnect to my PS4 the next time I want to play again. When I turn on my PS4 after such a crash it says that it crashed and I can send a report. Anyone experiencing the same problem? Or anyone knows how I can fix this?

PS4 disconnects within 30 minutes of play time.

It's been happening for a few days now. I play wired so I'm getting the "A LAN cable is not connected" error every day within the first 30 minutes or so of turning my PS4 on. I can reconnect right away but I just find the problem to be strange. I have no idea whether it's the router, cable, or my PS4 (pro). Anyone else experience this??
