Mouse not working on certain screen after it started randomly asking who is using

So my ps4 right now is pretty much a dumb pc. It's an ffxiv machine, that I use a mouse and keyboard to play. Starting yesterday, the ps4 has started asking me whose using the mouse like it does the controller. And I can't use the mouse on the log in screen to xiv anymore. I can use it in game and every other menu in game but the log in screen. Any idea what happened?
