Can no longer share games after 4.74 system update

A friend and I share games whereby his PS4 is activated as my primary system and my PS$ is activated as his primary system. I recently updated to the 4.74 update, and now I can't play games tied to his account. I have tried restoring the licenses to no avail. Anyone else have this problem?
