Gameplay recording paused while connected using PS4 Remote Play

Hey,

I play most of the time using the PS4 Remote Play app on my Mac as my wife or kids use the TV.

I'm curious as to why I cannot record gameplay, or even have that auto 15 minute record set up?

Whenever I start the app, it tells me recording has been paused.

Can I work around this or am I limited?
