PSN log in on a different continent

Hey there! First time posting on here.

I moved to NY 8 months ago and I'd like to get back into gaming. I already have a PSN account (been gaming for years and years), which is registered in my home country in Europe. So if I buy a new PS4 here, will I able to log into my "European" account and access my all downloaded games and save files?

Just wanted to know before buying one and setting up and finding out about it then.
