Can i just pop off the rubber part without taking the controller apart, and install a new rubber grip? I feel like you can't, because instructions online seem to indicate that you have to take the controller apart.
I see those rubber caps that you can buy, but those are not replacements for the original rubber grip right? Those are intended to be placed on top of the original rubber grip?
So does that mean i have to take apart the controller, and replace both the plastic stick part and the rubber grip (sold as 1 piece i guess)?
