My ps4 is a bit old, but I NEVER had this problem even now with my ps3...it won't play hardly any disc more than once, and now, now it won't even play my digital downloads...managed to install Destiny 2 from my step-son's disc to see if I wanted to buy it. Decided yes, so I deleted his version, buy my own and install it. Blue Screen of Data Corruption "Please uninstall and reDownload"...Okay, tried to rebuild database...tried to restore license...nothing....so I delete it and spend another 12 hours downloading...this time make sure my ps is activated to me...start game...FUCKING NOTHING BUT BLUE SCREEN OF DATA CORRUPTION....I can't believe I keep spending fucking money on this goddamn shit. I can't stand the xbox one, but it's starting to really sound like the better fucking option here since every ps4 I've had in the house eventually breaks down to shit. And no I can't send it in for servicing because the warranty is dead.
