This is a problem I've had for some time. Don't notice it with many games but some do. I started Mass Effect Andromeda and if I'm facing another direction from someone who's talking, their voice becomes very quiet. I understand it's due to surround sound and I only have 2.1 speakers. However, my in game settings are set to stereo and narrow (in case of MEA) and PS4 audio set to HDMI out and Linear PCM. I tried changing them a bit but nothing seems to work. Can't change my TV settings in game either. It's a Sony TV and pressing options functions as a controller.
I was suggested here to switch to HDMI out but that's what I'm at already. Any more hints on what I can change?
