I posted about my console's noisy blu-ray drive a while back, I finally managed to get it to a repair tech, and he told me that he can't find where the fault lies, and his best guess is that one of my moving parts is faulty. For a bit of context, I was on a plane and had it in the hold luggage, and accidentally left a disc in.
As you can see, it recognises discs, it just makes this stupid sound, that's also kind of worrying, since I'm guessing it could scratch one of the discs.
The repair tech told me that the only thing he can do is to completely replace the drive, but he can't actually source the part in the UK. Does anyone know where I could get a blu-ray drive for the PS4 Pro in the UK?
If not, I might just try to sell the system, and buy a regular PS4 from what's left. I don't actually have a 4K TV anyway, plus it'll be more convenient to travel with.
