Hey everyone, in the past couple of months I've been encountering a problem I've never had before - I have had my PS4 for 2 years, and in the past couple of months, whenever I play a game sometimes I will randomly lose control, the buttons won't press, the character/camera will move on its own, etc. I thought initially that my 2 controllers I had had just become old and needed replacing, so I got a brand new controller and that one has the issue too.
Sometimes it's fine for 10-15 minutes, but sometimes it's just relentless - I just ragequit on Fifa because the footballers were running in the opposite direction to the ball, and when I did gain possession, the buttons would press themselves and the ball would be kicked without me doing it, or when I actually do try to pass, it won't register that I've pressed anything.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this and how to fix it please? It's so frustrating, I haven't been able to really enjoy any games for weeks now, plus I've wasted money on a new controller - any help would be massively, massively appreciated, thank you!
