What are the best story driven games of the past several years?

My Ps3 got yellow light of death right before I started grad school, which I took to be a sign that I should take a moratorium from videogames for a while.

Now that I'm done with grad school I am now back in the loop with a PS4, but now I'm behind the times on my gaming.

What are some of the more notable story driven games I should look at adding to my collection?
