Applications having issues starting after recent update. Some framerate issues as well. Trying to find a coherent solution.

I started getting these issues directly after installing update 4.72. Applications refuse to open and I get an error message claiming the data is corrupt. If they do open, they run pretty poorly.

Not so sure what to do. Can't find coherent solutions.
