Battlefield 1 just for the campaign?

Hey guys - so the PS Summer Sale is on and Battlefield 1 is £22.

Although I enjoy playing Star Wars Battlefront multiplayer, generally I prefer campaigns. So was wondering - is Battlefield 1 worth it just for the campaign?

I'm a bit of a history buff so would be cool to play in the First World War, but if it's just going to be multiplayer, I'm not going to enjoy it.

What do you guys think?
