Best option for a USB Headphone/microphone interface

I'm trying to consolidate my gaming peripherals and, while I have the Sony Gold Wireless headset, I'd like to use my headphone/modmic setup that I use on my PC, which sits on the same desk as my PS4. Ideally, I would like to use a USB adapter to hook these up to the PS4, but I am having a difficult time finding one that works correctly. Both of the USB soundcard adapters reversed the left and right audio channels which is disorienting as hell. I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for one that has good sound and handles the audio channels correctly.

I don't need any surround features. Stereo is just fine. Mic input is necessary.

I have a way to hook up the headphones and mic to the controller, but I found the sound a little lacking with my headphones. I'm not sure my headphones are being driven enough. The USB soundcards I've tried sound much better, though they've heretofore been unusable because of the reversed audio situation.
