Brooks super converter

Hi I'm looking to use to my Xbox elite controller on my PS4 using this brooks super converter. Does anyone have any experience with it? I have Astro A40s with the mixamp so I don't need to connect my headset to the controller as it connects via USB and optical audio ports on the back. Will I still be able to do voice chat?
