Cannot connect my PS4 to Pioneer plasma TV, please help!

I have a Pioneer plasma TV with a Pioneer media receiver.

My PS4 connects up to my Toshiba just fine with the HDMI. However, when I plug the HDMI from my PS4 into the media receiver, the TV flickers but there is no picture or sound.

I have tested the HDMI cable out, and my MacBook Pro connects just fine to the TV with the same HDMI cable.

Is there a setting I need to change in the PS4 or TV?? Thank you.
