Hopefully this is the right spot and someone can help. Three days ago my PS4 wont connect to the internet. It is hardwired to my router. My computer is also wired to the same router and can access the internet no problem. My wireless network is up and I can connect to it on my phone and my tablet. I also cannot connect my PS4 via wireless. I have tried: 1. Switching ports on the router. 2. Switch to a known working ethernet cable. 3. Changing the DNS to the same as my router. 4. Also tried new DNS from online sources, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 along with others. 5. Plugged my PS4 directly to the cable modem (cannot obtain an IP address)
It can get an IP address if its in the router but times out about the DNS. Does anyone have any ideas?
