Hello all, so recently within the last 3-4 months my PS4 fan has been progressively getting louder and louder, (especially through games such as Bloodborne) until the point where gaming is almost unbearable due to the noise.
For context I got my PS4 in late 2014, so its 2.5 years old, but eventually I found a guide on how to clean it for dust. So I decided to open up the console without taking the power supply out and cleaning the dust. This did not help, in fact now I almost also hear a small buzzing in the machine as well as a loud fan. Thus I cleaned it again this time removing the power supply and cleaning the dust, I also put the console on rubber feet to prevent over heating and still the same loud noise.
Does anyone have any suggestions to fixing this problem? I've heard buying a cooling fan or placing the console vertically does the trick but I'm still unconvinced. There's also the thermal paste which could be causing the problem I've heard, but I also heard this doesn't always work and I'm a bit nervous to attempt doing this myself. Does anyone know what this issue could be?
TL;DR: Loud ass PS4 fan even after cleaning dust and placing console on rubber feet.
