Controllers will move on their own

[Issue has been fixed, look at last line of text for the cause]

I have two controllers and both of them since last week will randomly take the controls from me and make my character move in circles. It takes about 3-10 seconds before it works again, when this started on my first controller I thought I needed to buy a new one so I used my second one, the one I rarely use, and it did the same thing. I thought it might have just been connection lag because I don't have the greatest internet but it happens on home screens of games. I brought my controllers and ps4 to a friends house and they worked fine there. I would really like some feedback on what I can do because I'm starting to get a little worried.

[Fixed] A USB stick that was plugged into my ps4 for the purpose of transferring videos was creating the interference.
