Does anyone know if the save glitch is still happening in BioShock 1 and 2 on the collection?

I know when the game first came out, I found out that I couldn't make more than 6 saves between BioShock 1 and 2. Now, I've reached around 10 saves on BioShock 1 and haven't experienced the problem yet. From what I know there haven't been any updates recently.
