Does Until Dawn remind anyone else of an old ps2 game?

The gameplay is totally different but you play as teenagers in an horror setting. I remember it being a sequel. Can't remember if I played the original or not. I think it was survival horror... Sorry but that's all I can remember.

Edit: i just remembered that you play 2 characters in different sections of the game. I think it was 3 groups(maybe more). So 2 different characters in each group.
