DOOM or Titanfall 2, for someone with little experience in the FPS genre?

Hey I just wanted to see what you guys think the right game here for me would be, what with the summer sale and all. These are my 2 best options and I've heard great things about both, but I'm not too into shooters, so any advice an which one to get, for someone who's not a hardcore shooter fan?
