DS4 R2 trigger problem

I use a ds4 on PC and recently I noticed my car in Rocket League was a lot slower than usual. I opened DS4 windows and saw that when I held down R2 fully it only registered at a half press. L2 works perfectly Is there any software to artificially say I press it down fully every time I press R2? If not, how would I go about fixing the problem.
