Gonna keep this short and sweet to have a good discussion
Basically was thinking last night about how the One X is coming out and this and that have been talked about. Really feels like Phil Spencer is trying to cocktease consumers about the console. It'll be powerful and more powerful than the Pro, but to be honest there's a lot of things that I am really disappointed about:
1) his new style of leadership and marketing, where he tells the truth straight up, has not seemed to boost sales much. Meaning more online players on PS4
2) MS now has a right to record every single message and voice message sent. They can also record voice chat. Stealthily added back in 2015.
3) no exclusives have come out that are worth a damn. They've all been cancelled or complete flops. The only ones worth getting I can buy on my PC if I want them that bad
The Xbox One has definitely come a long ways since launch but I've realized I have also changed as a gamer: I play less, and when I want to play I want everything to be quick and play on the best console possible with the best graphics. I can't play religiously with my friends anymore, so there really isn't a reason for me to hold onto my One for that reason.
Anyways I know there's going to be a bias for the Pro but I figured I'd share to see if anyone else was/is in the same boat as me. Phil Spencer is a great guy and listens to fans, but he doesn't seem to really move consoles out the door (he's not a great marketer). Not sure if I should stick with the One or what not... either way I want to upgrade to something more powerful to play in college.
