[Help] Dead PS4?

I'm not the most tech savvy, so sorry if this is a stupid post. My PS4 recently got the "Cannot start PS4" error on attempted startup. I was able to basically factory reset it and it has been fine for about a week. Last night it did it again and again I tried factory resetting. Now it won't even turn on. I hit the PS button on the controller, it beeps and the PlayStation logo appears on the screen but then it goes to a black screen after that and it shuts itself down after about 15 mins of black screen.

So, the best solution I could come up with would be to replace the hard drive. Could this possibly fix it or is it dead? I just want to make sure it has a chance of helping before I buy a new hard drive.
