How i finally got DS4windows detect my DS4 controller in windows 10.

Dear gamers,

Probably you will be reading this post if you were having the same struggle that i used to have: Ds4windows wouldnt detect your DS4 controller.

After spending a day searching without a result, i decided to just mess around for a bit to see if there was something which would work. Just about 5 minutes ago i found the solution which worked for me.

What to do: (SORRY IF I MADE SOME LANGUAGE MISTAKES) * Connect your ds4 with the original cable to a USB port on your computer. * Go to control Panel by typing it into the search bar. Under control panel you can see hardware and sound. Click the button underneath it, view devices and printers. * Here you will see 'wireless controller' under devices. Right-click it and select properties. You will now get a separate window with 2 tabs, click the hardware tab. * Here you wil see 'HID-xxx', the x's will be something like game controller but my windows is in a different language so sorry :). * Double click this 'HID-' thing. In the left corner you will see a button with an administrator icon next to it, click this button. * A new window will open and here you have to select the second tab: Drivers (or whatever it is in your language) * Here you have to select the lowest button to delete the device. Clicking this will give another window and you have to click the uninstall button. * Make sure DS4windows is closed. Now pull your controller off the cable and plug it in again. You will hear some sounds and the drivers will instal. If you open DS4windows now you will be able to see your Controller.

Let me know if this works for you.

Have a good one lads, JuulDEbeer
