How is 1440p support on the Pro?

Got a 1440p 144Hz monitor I mainly use for my PC, but I really want to play Bloodborne and other exclusives. Would it be worth it to get a Pro, even if most games don't support it? I'd have been hooked on a normal PS4 by now, but I have a feeling 1080p would look terrible scaled on a 24" 1440p monitor.

Thoughts?
