So I just picked up a pair of hyper cloud 2s from my local store. Mind you I've now tried the Afterglow AG9s, and the turtle beach stealth 520s. (I was originally using the Gold headset before any of these until the band snapped after a year of use, unfortunately theres no warranty for having a fat head).
I get home to EXCITEDELY plug in these rave reviewed headphones to find out that the one @#$% ing thing I wanted the most doesn't work on them. The volume control.
The AG9s didn't have it at all although sounding fine. The 520s had it but they were flimsy build quality and had major Mic and static issues.
Can I not find a pair of 150 or below headphones that will get the job done???? Why are the decent headphones only good for PC?? Do I have to drop almost a systems worth of money to get what I need out of headphones? This is ridiculous. Is there a workaround where I can get a different amp for the headset; these things fit like a dream and sound great on my phone but the volume dies immediately when plugged into the ps4 and none of the buttons work. I've now spent almost 3 weeks looking for a solution and I'm beyond frustrated......
As always any and all opinions are more than welcome. I think at one point someone mentioned regular headphones with a boom Mic or something
