The catch is that instead of killing dozens of enemies, you play as the person who cleans up after the psycho's and mobsters are done with their dirty business.
In the gameplay you have to evade all the cops while stealing all the evidence, snatching the bodies and cleaning up the blood. You have no offensive capabilities at all, but your quick wit and reactions.
The artstyle is beautiful, the music is funky and the story is fairly intriguing, and you really start to like the Cleaner's mother.
It never gets as mysterious as Hotline Miami, but it's simple and good.
The collectibles are also fucking glorious. You'll have to clean up crime scene's from some of the best films from the seventies, ranging from comedy to science fiction to martial arts.
If you like topdown stealth games with a sense of humour, give this one a shot.
(Just don't forget to call in the cleaner afterwards)
