My PS4 is a launch model and for the last week or so I have noticed when I put it into rest mode, the fan doesn't stop going. It runs as if the console were on and idle on the dashboard and the console is warm/hot to the touch.
I have also noticed that it wakes up from rest mode considerably quicker than it used to. I have recently installed the latest firmware update but I can't guarantee that is when it started.
Power savings wise, all I have switched on are the auto updates and game suspension which has always been the case, USB charging and remote power on are switched off.
Has anyone else had this happen to them since they installed the latest update or has anyone else had this and stopped it happening other than switching off rather than using rest?
