I'm backing up my PS4 to an external hard drive (3.0, exFAT) in preparation for a restore to a new 2TB disk I bought. I have a full PS4 drive with nearly 500 gigs to backup. The thing I've noticed in tutorials is the PS4 will restart and show how far along the backup is. My PS4 shut off and is not displaying anything on the screen. The white light is on and my external hard drive has a blinking light which makes me think its backing up but its almost been 10 hours since it started. The longest backup time I found online for this amount of storage was 8 hours. Any advice?
