Is PS4 pro better than PS4 slim with full HD displays?

I am planning to buy a PS4. But I am in a dilemma whether to buy a slim or pro. Pro offers double the GPU speed as that of slim. However it appears to stress a lot on 4K gaming. I have a full HD TV at my home and surely not going to upgrade it to 4K anytime soon. So is it worth spending the extra bucks? Will the graphics (for the games to come for a few more years) be appreciably good on a full HD display with a PS4 pro as compared to PS4 slim?
