Is Until Dawn's lack of PS Pro support indicative of how Sony feel about the IP?

Hi guys and girls. Like many of you on PS+ I've been playing through Until Dawn this month and, with the exception of Bloodborne, it's probably my favourite PS4 exclusive. I'm a sucker for old-school slasher movies and Until Dawn has been scratching that itch perfectly.

One thing my Wife and I have noticed while playing through it however is that the performance is all over the place. Sometimes the game runs really smooth and the visuals look great, other times the frame rate chugs and things start looking pretty rough.

It seems like a perfect game to get the PS4 Pro treatment, yet nothing has been done and it doesn't look like anything is in the pipeline. DriveClub is another game which falls into this category and we all know how that ended for poor Evolution Studios... Do Sony consider the IP not worth supporting?

Of course there are a couple of obvious holes in my theory; Bloodborne is another game which hasn't been enhanced for the Pro and that game was a huge success for Sony. Likewise, Last Guardian has received a Pro update and that game tanked.

Any other games I've missed? With the focus rapidly shifting to 4K/HDR gaming, I would expect Sony to enhance all their big exclusives.
