Just bought a ps4 pro have a question?

So just got a ps4 pro today and I have a 1080p tv will be getting a 4k tv soon. Currently I have boost mode enabled is there any reason for me to uncheck boost mode to turn it off while not gaming and watching youtube, Netflix etc
