My TV is over cropping my PlayStation! Please help!

My LG TV crops my ps4 screen both horizontally and vertically. When I go onto TV settings it does not let me change the aspect ratio or different modes. Only move the screen left or right. Please help me with this because some games are unplayable because of this. Also bear in mind, my LG TV is very old so I could not find any help for it
