So within the last 2 weeks or so my system has developed quirks. First it would power up, flash the initial screen and then it was either freezing or taking forever. I would reset it or manually pull the plug and then it would do it's safety start but work.
Now every time I put it on it does the scan thing and landsa on a black screen that says "Cannot start ps4, connect controller". I do and it prompts me to usb install 4.71 (which as far as I know I had). It doesn't recognize the update file on the usb.
I started it in safety mode and chose "update via internet" which downloaded and then said it would restart to install. It did so and then immediately went back to asking for a usb update.
Please help me figure this out!!
