My PS4. (Original, and it's the version that has the loud fan) I got it December 2014 so it's really old. Fan is loud after 5 minutes, after about 4 to 5 hours it says it's too hot, and even just overheats after the red light goes away. So yeah, the console is pretty much at it's coffin at this damn point. But recently I bought a used copy of Dark Souls III for 25 dollars at Gamestop. Disc looks great and same for the box. I have 14 hours into it, but now after 5 minutes, the screen goes black and flickers random colors. (dark reds, greens and such. Probably because I am in Farron Keep right now in game.) But pressing the PS button shows white and purple since my theme color is purple. I have to turn off the console to fix this. But when this happens it goes back on and says an error has occurred with Dark Souls III, (Code ce-34878-0, generic crash code I think.) it asks me to if I want to report this, I explain the flickering and all that and reported it. It won't do anything most likely but whatever. This just started today and I thought it was happening because it was way too hot. I gave it 3 hours to cool and I tried again but same issue. I assumed it was the console but I believe this is the only game this happens with, so it could be the game interfering with something. I am reinstalling game data and the 1.14 patch right now in rest mode seeing if maybe some game data was corrupted and the game was fine until Farron Keep. I am at a dead end, if reinstalling it doesn't work, I could be screwed or I might have to buy another copy if maybe this printed version is messed up. (Yes the game is physical) What should I do? Start saving up for another PS4 because before I know it the thing will just die off?
