I recently purchased an ASUS gaming monitor that has two HDMI inputs, mostly for my computer but figured what the hell, I’ll put my ps4 pro on it too. However, there is a slight problem where the monitor won’t detect a signal from the pro.
So when the ps4 first turns on, no problem, the monitor detects the signal and all is working as it should. But, when I switch from HDMI to VGA so that I can do something on my computer, once I switch back to the PS4 pro on HDMI, it shows “no signal”.
I’ve tried looking on google, some people with similar issues say to do the following:
- Turn resolution to 1080p
- Turn off HDCP
- Restart console and try again.
Unfortunately, that did nothing. So does anyone know if there’s anything I can do to solve this? My monitor is an ASUS VG245H.
EDIT: I’ve also tried my Xbox One and it works flawlessly.
EDIT 2: Hooking! Not booking.
