Quick question on restoring ps4 files after upgrading hardrive.

So I have a 2tb portable hardrive with other folders with music and other files formatted to fat32 already. I want to know if I can back up my ps4 into that drive and restore it without deleting the music? Same for the ps4 system file, can I make an additional folder (PS4) > (UPDATE) > (FILE) without having to delete any files?
