Sorted from most likely to least likely:
-Infamous: Second Son Sequel: While Second Son did have a great ending, there are still many possibilities that they could take from it. I put this at the top because Second Son, while it does take place very clearly in the Infamous universe, isolates itself enough from Infamous 1 and 2 that i believe it is most likely we get a direct sequel with Deslin instead of another Cole game or a new character as the main character.
-A new IP: It really may not make sense to make a new IP since Second Son feels different from Infamous 1 and 2 that it may as well be one, but in the end, it is still an Infamous game. The rumor that they are making a Spider Man game supports this even if it turned out Insomniac was the ones behind it, it could be that they tried something new but abandoned it and gave it to Insomniac in favor for something else.
-Sly Cooper 5: Even though Sanzaru made Sly 4, the people behind the first three were Sucker Punch. They still own the IP, so they could always make one. The thing is, they have not touched the IP in years and (as mentioned earlier) had Sanzaru make the fourth game. While i do believe we will get a Sly 5, i doubt it will be from Sucker Punch. Sly 4 just had too good reviews to miss the opportunity to let Sanzaru continue the series and have Sucker Punch branch off into new ideas.
-Infamous 3/Cole 3: Confusing title? Allow me to explain. Second Son was a sequel to the Hero ending in Infamous 2, where Cole sacrifices himself to save the world. In the Villain ending, Cole lives and becomes the most powerful human being on the planet. The Hero ending got a sequel in Second Son, as for the Villain ending? Nothing. It is possible for Sucker Punch to be all like "these guys haven't seen my boy Cole in 6 years, let's fix that" and make an Infamous game where you play as Evil Cole after the ending of Infamous 2. The only problem is... the story. Like how exactly would this work since you are literally a god at the end of Infamous 2's Villain ending? Still, it is fun to speculate about nonetheless.
-Another Playstation IP: Let me explain. There are many great Sony IPs that have not gotten a sequel in quite some time, but none of them are similar in the slightest to Sly and Infamous... Right? There isn't conveniently a Sony IP whose creators neglect due to him not being nearly as popular as their other IPs... Right? He isn't also conveniently getting his 4 games re-released on PS4 soon... Right? And it's not like Sony could see from Nintendo announcing Metroid Prime 4 ten years after Metroid Prime 3 that people still care about older games... Right? I'll leave it at that since literally all of you know what i'm talking about.
-A spinoff of Sly or Infamous: Infamous and Sly haven't got that many spinoffs, so why not start now? I know Infamous had a Lost Legacy style game about Cole as a Vampire, but that was about Cole. I know that they did something similar to Second Son, neither of which i actually played, but that does not mean that they can't try other things. For example, since we may never get the "UnKarted" that we all dream of, why not try something about Cole racing... even though he has... you know... electric powers... yeah... you can see why this is on the bottom...
That's my theories anyway. What do you guys think that they will do, and what do want them to do? IMO, i really want to see an Evil Cole game!
