Hey guys so I'm not the best when it comes to tech stuff. Recently just got a new apartment and my router went out, it was old so I figured it was time to upgrade anyway. I went with an Asus router because the reviews on Amazon said it was amazing.....not so much. The router had issues right away, after countless hours on the phone with Asus they told me to send it in to their repair facility. I just got it back on Friday and was blown away at the difference, my internet was insanely fast, no buffering on Netflix or anything. Cut to me trying to play Battlefield 1 and I had a different story. I can't go 5 minutes in a match without the latency warning coming up and the game becoming so lagging that I shut it down. What confuses me is none of my other devices are slow, laptop cruises at about 45mps and my phone is around the same, it's just my PS4! I've seen some of the other posts that said the PS4 is known to have slow interest through wifi which is news to me because I never had any issues with my old Linksys router. Any advice on how to pick up my wifi speeds?
