Guys, while a lot of people have focused on the well known franchises (I already own most of them). I've ended up picking up a lot of the more random and obscure Japanese games. I have to admit that I have been really having a blast with them !
There's a bunch of "mad as you like" Japanese action games / fighting game / JPRG's (some borderline softcore porn) that are actually really fun to just pick up and play. No open world or lengthy tutorials - some remind me of the mega drive / SNES days. Don't miss out on the opportunity to pick up a few of these games and massively reduced prices.
Some I have picked up:
Tales of Beseria (OK this is more mainstream);
Senran Kagura Festival (this is scantily clad and very big bosomed girls fighting and ripping their clothes off around a beach setting - totally nuts anime). The boob physics alone is worth the purchase lol;
Odin Sphere - fantastic 2D action RPG, beautiful art, great music and lots of scantily clad heroines;
Mega dimension Neptunia VII- JRPG, but I've not had the chance to try it but it fits the anime theme and has a traditional JPRG turn based fighting system like the older FF games;
Onechanbara Z2 Chaos - sexy vampire hunters fighting in a classic Japanese arcade action game - lots of silly fun.
Croixleur Sigma - arena action fighter - lots of anime heroine's with 46DD's
Darius burst - a must buy if you enjoy shooters. Darius has been around since the 1980's and this is the ultimate version. A bargain at the moment as it is usually an eye watering £50!
Digimon Cybersleauth - I've not tried this yet but have heard really good reports.
The above games are mostly the sort of games I would have played 20 years ago. Just pick up the controller and shoot / hack enemies. Very good in small doses.
Considering, the amount of time needed for my usual games (GTA, Witcher, HZD, Mass Effect etc) it is refreshing to have something silly to fall back on.
Any other gems in the sale I've missed out ?
