Trading my XBox One for a PS4 today. Will my 4k TV make the PS4 look bad?

Hello, I currently have a Sony 49X700D 4k TV with HDR. Does the PS4 upscale to 4K or will that be done by the TV software? If so, will it make the PS4 look shitty? Please advise.
