Trying to free up room on storage and can't remove or delete applications

Hi,

I have a few free games online like Smite and DC Universe Online that I am trying to delete to free up some storage space.

I've been at this for almost 30 minutes, reading articles online and also watching youtube videos with no success.

How do I remove games/applications from my storage? I don't want to remove the saved data, I've figured out how to do that, I want to remove the entire application. I know the game will remain in my library but I don't want it to take any storage.
